One critical step that was missed here is installing an inline fuse. Without a fuse, if the wiring ever short circuits, say due to rubbing against the frame, or touching the hot engine, you will have full battery power going through that thin wiring! This will rapidly heat up, and could easily start a fire, burning your bike to the ground! An inline fuse costs $5, and a pair of ring terminals costs $2. Locate the fuse as close as possible to the positive terminal of the battery, as the fuse only protects electronics and wiring down-stream from the battery. Keep the unprotected wiring (between the fuse and the battery) as short as possible for maximum safety.

if you use a charger that doesn't have an on-off switch, to avoid it draining your battery, a very half-ass way to do it is wire the positive end into the fuse box that is hooked to your headlights.

I am not a fan of USB chargers myself. Get a powerpack.

You can buy chargers that have their own dedicated switch, if you rely on it. I have such, still i'm looking for a video that explains how to wire a charger for the ignition line.

No it won’t. The circuit is open and will not draw any power from the battery unless you plug something in. However, since it is directly connected to your battery, leaving something plugged in while the motorcycle is off will kill your battery.

Here's my 2 cents, Interesting video for Nobis, however, your connection to the battery is sloppy because your not securing it with a ring connector. If I may tap into your brake light wiring so when your key is on you have power and when it's off no power. Therefore you can charge your devices when you riding and have no concern about draining your battery or forgetting to turn off your charger. Outside of that, nice bike. oh ya, a zip tie anyone can come along and cut your USB charger from your bike, and people not all but some will try, just my two cents, ty.

My advice, get a powerbank. Don't mess with motorbike electrics
But the topic got a lot of views!
