I know this isn't a new video but I just wanted to say that you explained the wiring well. I consider myself mechanically inclined but definitely not electrically so. So many videos seem to gloss over the details that I desperately need. You got a new subscriber right here! Also, I just bought my 1st bike (cb500f) at the tender age of 40 and am looking for some smart mods!!!

Some honda's have a Option Plug (OP) or sometimes called Options Connector. You can save a lot of hassle by using it as this connector is already wired up to the battery and will automatically turn off when the bike isn't on etc.

I have an all-in-one phone mount/charger on my GS...came fully assembled, but I often think of adding a second USB. Is there a point where the battery gets overloaded by having more than one? I especially like the meter you have on yours, this makes me want to add the second one.

Your better running the red positive wire to a hot wire comming from the ignition . That way the plug only works once the ignition key is turned on. Less chan e of getting a flat battery. The earth black wire can ground on the chassis. This way you have less shit hanging off your battery poles.
