As an Australian when I first saw Gus's reaction to his fathers speech, I was moved to tears for him sharing his emotions so honestly. Like Anne Coulter, I had no idea of his background. After becoming aware of his "special powers", I understood why his impact was so powerful as to move me to tears. What a proud moment for the family and all the USA and world to witness. Anne Coulter (and other Replublicans) saw the same images we all did - and I cannot understand how they could post their now deleted "basement dweller" comments; what sad dark souls they must have?

Bookstores don’t ever ban books. They sell them, so they order (or in the case of a chain their buyers) what will sell. What we should hope for is that it’s a total flop, and that we can and should act on. MTG’s “book” was a huge and immediate flop because nobody bought it. For Ann Coulter, it’s a bit more complicated, as her followers probably can actually read. I’m sure her publisher is fully aware of the consequences of this just as Kristi Noem’s publisher surely is from her dog story. We as private citizens can make a huge difference by protesting to such publishers and to advertisers on her shows, especially if she’s going to try to promote them there.

I am sobbing. As a person with close family members who are on the spectrum and/or diagnosed with anxiety disorders, this kid has my heart! Because I know that crowds and noise can be an issue for some, as well as showing emotion, I can see that this young man has had supreme support and love from those close to him. I am an introvert and AD/D. Not a fan of moving through crowds. One night at a MLB game and I am exhausted the next day. I couldn't do 4 nights like all the players did. Gus is awesome, I want to know more about him. The Walz family literally live 20 minutes from me. I am so happy I voted for Governor Walz both times. ❤
