Im here to re-learn my scottish accent, i moved to England a while ago and my scottish and English accents clashed and i sound American😂. Hope this helps lol
Of course people who live in the region find this cringey. Even if you live in Scotland, the linguistics differ from each region..same with Americans from the North, South, East and West. Each region has their own sound.
Curious to know, did you use Iain Stewart as a model here?. Speaking as a Scot, the things described are all things a Scottish accent may do, and it's strange, as a Scot, to actually notice it in yourself when you're used to that being just 'the way things are'. For those trying to use this to learn- this is definitely a specifically Glasgowish accent, particularly the intonation, those from other parts of Scotland wouldn't sound as much like this. It does slip a bit between various features of Scottish accents that don't belong in the same accent, but overall not bad.
