BBC1 Continuity - Saturday Night - Lottery & Bugs - 11-5-96

This is a great clip if may say so myself - the end of Simon Mayo's Confessions, a spin-off from him Radio 1 show which doesn't really translate to TV, a promo for a show of comedy highlights, Bob Monkhouse helms the lottery with Gloria Estefan. There's the big return of the Saturday Night TV time machine - then Bugs which I think I'd like to watch now but didn't get it at the time!
(I saw a photo recently on twitter of ex-BBC Acorn Archimedes systems at a museum that did the graphics for games shows and lottery till the mid 00's, I'd assume an Archie is doing these lottery graphics also)

Well i didn't win the Lottery that night. On an Olympic theme, Gloria Estefan sang at the Closing Ceremony of the Atlanta Olympics one of the official songs of the 96 Games. And of course these were the days before Lottery funding would begin for Team GB.

What a pity that Mystic Meg's bit was cut out, and I'm guessing Gloria sang one of her hits, and that was removed too.
