Light weight VS Power , fortunately for the Porsche the Nurb has long straight lines

@@Dr.Ian-Plect highly unlikely. 500BHP Alpine A110 has beaten ~950BHP GT2 RS in this years Pikes Peak hill climb. Porsche had better power to weight but still lost. Alpine was 2nd fastest ICE car (behind a prototype Wolf TSC-FS), fastest ICE in the class and it beat class record for ICE powered cars. A car built in 6 months and finished a week before the event beat Porsches that have been engineered for this very event for years. The Alpine driver has been taking part in this event multiple times, he scored podiums in Porsche 911 a couple of years in a row and he said that the handling and feel of a 911 is no match for light Alpine. The data shows that when compared to a 911, Alpine lost time on straights but gained on twisty sections. Hard to argue with that.

Your chassis stability shows in the corners, as we see the GT3 RS brake way earlier than you do. The horsepower disparity becomes apparent in the long straights.
That's the driver, not the car; the RS has superior cornering ability.
@@Dr.Ian-Plect zero reasons the RS has better cornering ability than the A110. In fact, with equal tires, i would think the A110 has better cornering ability than the GT3. Is it much lighter and has better weight distribution, and double wishbone suspension front and rear.

- Superior downforce
Then there's the chassis and suspension setup to be considered. Don't be so vacuously dismissive.

Super vidéo, merci du partage ! J'ai vu les précédentes avec une GT350. Ayant une A110 GT et ayant toujours été attiré par la Shelby GT350, je serais curieux d'avoir ton retour. Au-delà des différences de poids et de moteur, comment compares-tu les deux en termes de sensations ?
Les deux sont dingues, maintenant l alpine est plus efficace en châssis mais il faut vraiment faire un gros travail sur le pilotage pour sortir des temps car la puissance est faible. La Shelby c'est juste dingue au niveau moteur des sensations qui sont simplement inégalables et le châssis même d'origine est vraiment bon. Si je dois donner la voiture qui donne le plus de sensations c'est la Shelby, si je dois donner une note sur la polyvalence châssis / pilotage / consommables fiabilité et polyvalence sur route de montage et sur circuit c'est l'alpine

Nice driving! But it looks like the taxi left a lot on the table in the corners and breaking (understandably). The GT3 would have probably been a lot faster if driven to its limit.
What size tires are you using?

@@Hetzenauer33 Oui, enfin, c'est quand même vendu par les concessionnaires Renault, c'est juste du marketing. Quant à la GT3RS, c'est encore plus simple, ce n'est pas vendu du tout à moins de chasser le bon de commande.

That Porsche has 500hp and is driven by a professional driver and didn´t gain more than a couple hundred meters on a 20km track on that 300hp french car. LOL
And before you haven´t at least driven the Ring once, as you obviously have not, your opinion has no value. Whatsoever.
Weight is everything on that track and the Alpine has 300kg less of it compared to "that Porsche".
Plus that was some damn nice driving!

Well, for a car about 4 times less expensive it challenged this Porsche pretty well.
