Rochester airport getting millions in upgrades

When all is said and done, there will be a new parking system, new entryways, ticketing and baggage claim areas, elevators, jet bridges, baggage belts, a veterans area, and an observation area honoring Frederick Douglass.

It is kind of strange that no airline offers a single flight daily between Rochester and Toronto. I remember that Air Canada had service years ago although it was way over-priced and I only made the trip once. Another thing that i can't understand is why there is no direct service to any city in Ohio. Why can't we get one flight a day to Columbus?
