- Hey folks, so this is my unwaffled version of me making this funky Ukulele from just colored pencils. What kind of wood is the neck? I'm wondering because I got a bunch of 2 foot long by 6 inch wide and .5 to 1.5 inch thick of the same kind but I don't know what it is.
You should make a clear egg with an
actual egg white and yolk inside!

one day you have got to make a ukulele out of just clear resin. See how clear you can get it to make an invisible(or nearly) ukulele
It has been done in the past. I would love to see Nick give it a shot, though.

Norma 71 it’s all about aesthetics though for a project like that, just a pretty piece of art to put on your wall

@@potato_caitlyn2196 I think what he means is that, the way it is built it the same as a normal ukulele which means in theory it should work, which you can see by watching the whole video. The reason why I think he didn't play it is because it was not in tune. But that's just a theory considering that neither said such things

A agree. I stumbled on this channel a little over a year ago and it was his waffling and joking that attracted me to the channel. I've watched others do maybe about as good a job on their products but I can't stand watching them lol. I'm sat there thinking, Nick Zammeti would have made a great host for this project 🤣🤣🤣

Hey Nick just wanted to say that I subscribed about 3 years ago my Granddaughter and I still sit and watch every video she's about to turn 6. She has now included her little brother in what we call Tube Time. She seen your daughter and wants to know if she has a channel. Keep the Waffle. During these trying times there is No Call for any negativity if you could see the smiles of these babies who know you by name and come running when they hear you waffling all I can say is THANK YOU.. I've always been a person that speaks my mind so here goes this. There are people in this world that their sole purpose in life is to drag others down it's a game to them. Just smile and keep being happy. They lose. You win.

Great build, the colored pencils are cool to look at. Was a nice solution using the bandsaw to hollow out the ukulele

I think I'm disagreeing with the majority of people when i say that I prefer this version. Still like waffling but I mainly come for his creativity and to see something being made.

love it. have you ever thought of making a pattern with the color pencils so there like pixels I know it would be a bit more time consuming but I think it would put it over the top and give it that extra something to make it stand out like on this ukulele a pattern layout of like a band logo or a video game character would be cool. maybe for a future project you can try it
A guy did that with color infused matchsticks and made an entire electric guitar out of them in the pattern of the first world of Super Mario Brothers. It was amazing.

Do you mean just basic color blocks or do you mean that the pixels would make a picture or a layout if something like a logo of a band or the face of Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen or Yngwie Malmsteen? Something like that? 😂
I got into it there with the faces.
The problem I aeee with making a picture out of pixels is he would have to use something small enough to make each pixel have several different colors on it to make it look. Like a pixel otherwise you couldn’t make a picture of any kind in the face of say a guitar. Anywho great idea. I wish he would do this. 👍

Nick, you have an addiction to color pencils. The first step to fixing this issue, is more color pencils🤣🙃 also, Unwaffled was good.👍
I tried EPODEX clear resin. I had no bubbles at all and it dried like glass. An amazing product. Just remember to put your gloves on before you start. 🤔😏

I like to think that it might have looked a bit cooler if you used some of the center waste to make the neck. The more pencils the better
