Boomstick better say that during the "actual death battle" which they must surely do and get a weird look and comment from Wiz as they transition to the death battle.

Wiz: Emmet-the LEGO construction worker who was destined to stand out from the rest. Boomstick: And Jesse-the fanboy of the Order of the Stone turned savior of the Minecraft worlds. Wiz: The story of the underdog is a classic tale of an ordinary character with SEEMINGLY little skill, but would later rise up to become the champion and hero everyone needs. Boomstick: Take these two blockheads for example. Boring and stereotypical happy-go-lucky nerds with boring names at first. But who knew all you needed was great tenacity, ass-full of creativity, and A LOT of building blocks to get so far? He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick! So that's what it's called! I kept calling it Master Deconstruction for the longest time cuz I haven't watched Lego Movie 2 in a good long while. Also don't forget the fact that he accidentally caused the Armageddon accidently DESTROYING HIS ENTIRE LEGO UNIVERSE AND ALL THE NEARBY LEGO WORLDS IN ONE PUNCH! Via Master Breaker.
I did some research on jesse's feats, I realized that jesse is very strong, his tier is high universal, I didn't expect that,I think the part where the music starts to climax is jesse using the gauntlet or the enchanted sword
Ah yes, the matchup that should have been in the Champions' Poll instead of Steve VS Emmet. It's still not Steve VS Terrarian but honestly ? I'm 100% fine with this MU because it's a good matchup and it had potential to give a great track. And was it ? *Damn right it was !* It starts all happy and joyful but not overly so in a way that both fits Emmet and Jesse which directly sets the mood of the track only for the battle to fully start at 0:24 in an extremely energetic tone that once again fits both characters by having the background guitar give the segment a quite serious side but then you've got the main melody which is much more lighthearted and energetic to fit Emmet better. I also quite like how that opening at 0:24 sounds somewhat similar to Halland/Dalarna to showcase Jesse's inherent connection to Steve as a Minecraft protagonist but it has a distinct feeling to it which shows that Jesse's very much his own character still. This is further emphasized at 1:02 when we get another melody which starts off as even more joyful than the last one which could hint at Emmet possibly taking the advantage after their first bout, which would fit the character as Emmet is much more proactive than Jesse so him getting the first advantage in the fight makes sense. This is further proven by the fact that at 1:26 we switch into a much more serious melody to fit Jesse better, fitting his more reactive position. And then... Then we get the 1:40-2:04. Aww man did I *NOT* expect freaking *Revenge* to be featured in that song and *BOY* do I absolutely *LOVE* it. It takes a classic track from Minecraft's history and manages to perfectly include it in the song. And while it's not something that perfectly fits either character, I think it fits the general vibe of the track really well. Revenge is a song that came about in the golden age of Minecraft when most people that know of the game were still children or quite young and Minecraft: Story Mode is a noteworthy piece of Minecraft history that originates from around that same period and I remember people (me included) being so hyped to finally get a Minecraft game with an actual story. The inclusion of Revenge in this track doesn't represent the characters as much as it represents the context in which they came to be. I didn't mention Emmet but the same applies to him as the Lego Movie came about at a similar date to Minecraft: Story Mode. Both those characters come from a golden age of content for young people and the inclusion of Revenge in there is a great way to represents this nostalgia that many people have for both characters while also fitting them somewhat in addition to just sounding cool too. Even in a non-meta way, it fits the characters as being relatively serious to fit Jesse but also extremely active and energetic to fit Emmet. Seriously, I said it as a joke in the Première chat but that segment alone seriously puts this track at S-tier. After this wonderful segment we get a slight break in the song which could represent so many things that I'm not even gonna attempt to come up with an interpretation so just know that it sounds really cool. And the way track takes back at 2:16 in a literal clap is a really cool detail to me as it both represents Emmet spontaneity and ability to always look forward along with Jesse's determination to fight on. It's a small detail but one that gives the song even more personality than it already has. After this we get a reprise of the start of the fight but pumped up to 11 which shows that, while those two are giving the best they have to win this fight, they stand true to their value, never changing their way of going about things: to stand out from the rest with their creativity and personality. That or of course it can just be a reprise of the chorus to prepare for the song's climax. But I like the idea of that interpretation. And speaking of which, we then get the climax of the fight at 3:05 and damn if it isn't simply *legendary.* It sounds extremely epic and grand in scale and while it of course fits the scale of the battle I think it's another one of those cases where the song goes beyond just the fight and goes in a meta standpoint with this segment. It's not just grand to represent the characters, it's grand to represent the sheer scale of both franchises. Minecraft stands as the most sold video game in history and I don't think I need to explain why Lego is an absolute mastodon of a franchise. This track isn't just "Jesse VS Emmet", it's "Minecraft VS Lego" and this segment truly makes you feel this: this isn't just two characters fighting, it's the legacy of thousands, ney, millions of people's childhoods fighting to the death in front of their eyes but not in a sad or tragic way. They're giving the best of themselves to represent not just themselves but all the people that ever stood for Minecraft and/or Lego as a whole. And even if of course they wouldn't show it directly in the fight (given, Emmet could theoretically do it given he knows that he's a toy canonically), their intent transcends the characters they are to represent something much grander. Or, well, that's what I'm getting from this absolutely epic finale because of course I may be looking much too deep into it and people reading this may think I'm an utterly madman for saying that. Either way, point is that it's a great climax. And the way it ends at 3:30 is another really interesting bit. Originally I wasn't that big a fan of it because of how it breaks such an epic segment but after a bit more thought I think it works quite well: whoever won that fight, regardless of if it's Jesse or Emmet, is known for always pushing forward via determination and optimism. And them going about their life after such a fight is a prime showcase of this as the song picks up an almost identical shape to the very beginning of the song with a few minor differences. Notably, the very faint percussions in the intro are not present and I think that the overall segment is a tiny bit slower. This is something that once again fits well as, even if whoever won went about their life, they still were badly damaged by this fight, causing them to be slower and less energetic by default due to their injury. Either way, that ending works nicely. Overall this track is one that, while I'm still a tiny bit sad that it isn't Steve VS Terrarian, I'm infinitely pleased with. It's a great track that both fits the characters and their franchise as a whole. This song truly feels like love for both the franchises was put in there and I think I can safely say that, aside from Ultima Machina which stands in a rank of its own, this track is my favorite of the current Volume. Hell, it says something when my only real gripe about the song isn't even about the song itself but the fact that its name really isn't that good as even if it does fit both characters and also meta-wise as Build Battles were an extremely popular thing during Minecraft's golden age. The name just doesn't really do the matchup and the song justice I'd say. But regardless that barely matters as the name is barely related to the track itself, which is great. I guess I could even say that everything about this song was awesome, eh ? Either way, absolutely wonderful work with this.
Script idea: The fight takes place at a LEGO stadium , with hundreds of iconic LEGO characters on one side and hundreds of Minecraft characters (or skins, or both, depending on how you interpret it) on the other (Jesse's and Emmet's friends are on the front). Announcer: On one side, we have the Master Builder ... Emmet! ... and on the other side, we have the savior of Sky City ... Jesse! Jesse and Emmet look at each other, smiling and giving each other a compliment. The announcer walks to them, with two totems in hand. Announcer: As a safety precaution, both of our fighters will get a Totem of Undying. We wouldn't want anything severe happening now, would we? As the announcer walks away, the fight commences. Ending: After the winner kills the loser, the loser gets revived, with the winner helping them up. Afterwards, they both walk out of their arena, talking about all of their past adventures. (I feel like this would be the best ending, and the simplest way I can see the fight starting is if they were doing a friendly sparring match, and my mind went to a stadium fight.)
I imagined this fight actually started off as a building competition where both were building something awesome and were about to finish and reach for the last thing only to find out they both needed the same thing. They try to settle it civilly and try to convince the other to give them the piece when Emmet accidentally hurt Jessie, angering him and leading to him pulling out his sword to attack Emmet, when he pulled out his wrench on instinct to block the sword. The fight ends with the winner killing the other and grabbing the piece they needed and going back to their build and putting it on, winning 1st prize
I could see this being a mix of both these ideas really. It would begin in an open plains biome with both of them making some builds, when they finish they start complementing each other on their builds depicting the two as friends. They then challenge each other in combat to see who’s the strongest This is where the first part of the fight takes place. they use some of their simpler abilities like swords blocks and potions for Jesse and a wrench and some building techniques for emmet. They take a pause from the fight and make a deal that whoever loses has to buy them both coffee. They then have an actual build battle building giant machines to fight each other with. And they start using their full arsenals at this point. The climax sees emmet building his giant mech suit from the movie while Jesse uses the gauntlet arm from part 2 to fight each other with. Emmet grabs Jesse in his robot hand and slams him down to the ground as a finishing blow assuming emmet wins. Jesse dies but is soon brought back to life by his totem of undying. Jesse surrenders and they both go out for coffee together. That sound like a good script for me at least.
@@Annihilate0405 yeah that would work. I really wish death battles rules allowed for non lethal ending in their episodes like smash bracket. That would fit perfectly in this episode and I feel like if we’re keeping these two in character I’d really only imagine Jesse dying but coming back to life with a totem shortly after.
I KNEW THIS WAS COMING SOME DAY , HUGE THANKS TO THE COMISSIONER , I LOVE BOTH PLAYING MINECRAFT STORY MODE WITH MY BROTHER AND SEEING THE LEGO MOVIES , THIS SLAPS HARD !
I played both Minecraft Story Mode and the LEGO Movie Video Game. And I think it's a better MU for Emmet. I haven't played Season 2 of "Minecraft Story Mode" or "The LEGO Movie Video Game : The Second Part". So yeah
It's so nice to see a track using a Lego character, I've always wanted to see some lego franchise in Death Battle, although this is not my favorite option For Emmet (my favorite option for him now is Guy from Free guy), I think this is a good one alternative, it took me a while to warm to this idea as I actually thought Steve was a better option, but certain people convinced me that this is better for Emmet (I still like Steve as an opponent for Emmet)
How I think the figth gose 0:00 It shows a area in one of the 2's worlds as a sign is up saying "Building Competition" as multiple lego and minecraft people are in certain areas building their own things. 2 Spacific areas show Jessie and Emmet who are next to each other, building their own things. They both see they need one last piece and grab what they need, only to find the other grabbing the same piece. Both exchange apologies and try to take it, explaining how they need it more, which soon lead to them trying to pull it out of the other's hands 0:23 Emmet pulls hard on the piece only for him to lose his grip and the piece hitting Jessie in the face. Emmet apologizes but Jessie was too angry to care, pulling a Dimond sword and attempting to hit him. Emmet dodged the first two swings and pulled his wrench out to block the 3rd as he asks them to stop but Jessie says he started it, kicking Emmet away 0:37 The two clash weapons with Jessie quickly overpowering Emmet's Wrench and hitting it out of his hands and away from them. Emmet tries to run away only for Jessie to shoot arrows at him. Emmet dodged them and started to build a giant hammer and swings it to Jessie. Jessie Dodges as he tries to run from Emmet, even placing blocks to buy him time. Eventually after building a wall made of obsidian that Emmet has troble breaking through with the hammer, he sees Jessie finish building a TNT cannon, lighting it and shoots it at Emmet, launching him away off a cliff, as Jessie chases him as he puts on a pair of elytras and uses fireworks to chase after him 1:14 Emmet noticed the Lego Bricks near him and realized he could use them to build a helicopter, and quickly builds one while falling and flies it in the air. Jessie shoots arrows at Emmet as Emmet tries to dodged them and fires missiles at him that he added to the helicopter. Eventually, Jessie pulls out a crossbow with a firework on it and shoots it at the copter, making it explode and makes Emmet fall down as Jessie flies after him. 1:39 Emmet lands on his face screaming as Jessie lands and drinks a random potion. Emmet realized he wasn't falling anymore and stops screaming, getting up and looks around on the forest ground wondering where Jessie is, only to get hit by Jessie using a speed or invisibility potion. Jessie uses his potions to start rushing Emmet, overwhelming him, and even cutting off his arm. 2:04 Emmet was kneeling on the ground holding the hole socket where is arm was originally in as Jessie's potions wore off. Jessie walked up to Emmet telling him it's over, only for Emmet to use his master Breaker power and uses his remaining arm to Punch Jessie's Dimond sword when he swung it at him, shattering it on impact. 2:15 Jessie was shocked as Emmet used this time to do a backflip and kick Jessie away from him. Jessie tried to shoot arrows at him but Emmet dodged them as he was too fast now as he was taking this more seriously, as Jessie was then kicked into some water. Jessie resurface and saw Emeet was moving faster then the eye could see, as he was taking apart lego builds that were near by as he could see what part he needed highlighted to him. He finishes and shows off a giant robot meck, claiming he is a Master Builder. Jessie puts on one of his many armor pieces and pulled out the very same sword he used to break the Command block, as both run to each other. The meck kept attacking Jessie's who got hit multiple times but didn't take too much damage as he started coming up with a plan. Eventually after getting a better idea on how the robot works, he uses ender pearls to teleport onto the robot, using his sword to break important pieces of the robot. Eventually, he makes it to the cockpit where Emmet was. Emmet tried to fight Jessie, but Jessie kept Dodging and places a crafting table, putting super TNT in the middle and surrounding it with gunpowder, making the F-Bomb. He puts it on Emmet's lap and ender pearls away, leaving the master builder to say "Uh oh" 3:05 The robot blows up as Jessie lands on the ground safely thinking it's over, only to hear screams in the air and looks up to see Emmet free falling from the sky, somehow surviving the explosion. Emmet was spinning uncountably panicking, until he sees Jessie. He managed to stop spinning and aims straight towards Jessie, as he holds his fist back to use his master Breaker power to end the fight, as his fist grows bigger. At the same time, Jessie builds a TNT Launcher and readies his sword, being launched in the air to Emmet. Both then clash as Jessie's enchanted sword clashes with Emmet's Fist. If Jessie wins, the Sword then cuts straight through his arm and slices through Emmet in half. If Emmet wins, the sword shatters as Jessie was slammed onto the ground and dies as his items poof out of him. 3:30 The victor stands up and takes a breath before taking the piece they needed from their dead opponent (Jessie takes it out of Emmet's hand and Emmet just grabs it from the pile of Jessie's stuff) as they make their way back to the competition as they finally put it on their building just in time for the judges to come and observe it, finding it awesome and declaring them the winner of the building competition.
@@theamarecreator4110The sword is capable of practically destroying Minecraft's concept of infinity, what would you do against Emmet? And Jesse is paired with Romeo which makes Jesse trillion times stronger than Emmet
@@MidnightPhantom using how Deathbattle would scale these two, Jesse. My own personal feeling for midball would say Jesse as well. Absolute peaks though (Emmet being an actual real entity even within the movies) and being outside of a narrative element that being imagination building I would say him but once again that is the ABSOLUTE highest interpretation you can give him so I would stick with the midball where Jesse does stomp pretty badly due to statements about the Command Block and the fact it was going to devastate the infinite Minecraft world with his sword being able to damage the block meaning that while Jesse’s own AP isn’t that high his weapon is strong enough to one shot Emmet. He also survived the Formidibomb point blank which is a massive feat for his armor durability.

Fun fact: during the cast where they were deciding Mus Steve vs Emmet only came up after the team was requested Jesse for Emmet so by all accounts Jesse vs Emmet should've been the mu they chose
If this actually became a DB I don’t think they would interpret emmet as a simple Lego character, but rather what he is in Finn’s imagination to make it fair
@@merlinthestrange8543 Very true. Emmet probably blitzes Jesse as well since he has dodged gunfire from possibly hundreds of lord business’ robots and also planet level punches in the sequel.
@@Da_Anti_Spiral Not to mention other series like the Lego Magazine Statements and Lego Dimensions. The fact you could make the argument that Emmet could scale to the collective Lego Universes gives him insane potential for feats.
The ending sounds like a scene after emmet kills Jesse, where Jesse is in heaven and he finds Ruben and they give one last hug as emmet look into the sky as he says "Everything you did, was awesome."
@@JamalOlinda065 It’s possible that DB would consider that emmet is just a figment of Finn’s imagination. Since He treats emmet like a main character in a sense, it’s entirely possible that emmet could just get massively amplified in Finn’s mind and would still win. Idk about this one though

Honestly Imo Jesse would win He's more experienced and has better weapons Emmet has an advantage in being able to build faster and more complex structures
honestly, jesse would weirdly be a better matchup for emmet just so he has a character to bounce off of. plus, i mean, theres literally nothing saying that jesse isnt capable of at least all of steve's passive feats. its still minecraft.
It’s annoying that the 1x1 block isn’t actually a perfect cube meaning if the artist wanted to accurate he should’ve used a 2x2 with a 2x2 tile on top but that’s me being a nitpicker it’s still an amazing track
Now who would win? Steve and Emmitt both can build great things. At first. It may look like Steve would take longer to build and has limited resources. While Emmitt can build things faster, But steve is smarter then Emmitt, And He could definitely outsmart Emmitt and possibly could get the first killing blow, plus he can repair his weapons. Emmitt actually has more limited resources then Steve, because he would need the right Lego parts to build something. Even in master builder mode. And building stuff with Lego can only get you so far in a war before they start outsmarting you. Heck even Lego has a hard time destroying thing more durable and could break apart easily. and Steve sword would break through Emmitt’s Lego parts and anything he would build. Plus the armor would give Steve more defense and has a better arsenal, Steve would wreck Emmitt in a fistfight, Steve had a counter for anything Emmitt could create. Steve would definitely win this.

I did some research on jesse's feats, I realized that jesse is very strong, his tier is high universal, I didn't expect that,I think the part where the music starts to climax is jesse using the gauntlet or the enchanted sword
I could see it as emmet building the mech.
Also what did you expect jesse is as strong as steve lol
@@marshyhmr7766 I didn't expect it, Jesse is practically the strongest in the verse and is at the level of an admin who is practically a god
Yeah I wasn't expecting the DBW moderator to do a Death Battle commission. Not that I'm complaining.
@gribblegrape6496 If Jesse wins, just have Jesse give Emmet a Totem of Undying before they started fighting then Emmet gets revived after death.

Why did I immediately think of Breaking Bad.
How I think the figth gose
0:00 It shows a area in one of the 2's worlds as a sign is up saying "Building Competition" as multiple lego and minecraft people are in certain areas building their own things. 2 Spacific areas show Jessie and Emmet who are next to each other, building their own things. They both see they need one last piece and grab what they need, only to find the other grabbing the same piece. Both exchange apologies and try to take it, explaining how they need it more, which soon lead to them trying to pull it out of the other's hands
0:23 Emmet pulls hard on the piece only for him to lose his grip and the piece hitting Jessie in the face. Emmet apologizes but Jessie was too angry to care, pulling a Dimond sword and attempting to hit him. Emmet dodged the first two swings and pulled his wrench out to block the 3rd as he asks them to stop but Jessie says he started it, kicking Emmet away
0:37 The two clash weapons with Jessie quickly overpowering Emmet's Wrench and hitting it out of his hands and away from them. Emmet tries to run away only for Jessie to shoot arrows at him. Emmet dodged them and started to build a giant hammer and swings it to Jessie. Jessie Dodges as he tries to run from Emmet, even placing blocks to buy him time. Eventually after building a wall made of obsidian that Emmet has troble breaking through with the hammer, he sees Jessie finish building a TNT cannon, lighting it and shoots it at Emmet, launching him away off a cliff, as Jessie chases him as he puts on a pair of elytras and uses fireworks to chase after him
1:14 Emmet noticed the Lego Bricks near him and realized he could use them to build a helicopter, and quickly builds one while falling and flies it in the air.
He puts it on Emmet's lap and ender pearls away, leaving the master builder to say "Uh oh"
3:05 The robot blows up as Jessie lands on the ground safely thinking it's over, only to hear screams in the air and looks up to see Emmet free falling from the sky, somehow surviving the explosion.

Now who would win?
Steve and Emmitt both can build great things.
At first. It may look like Steve would take longer to build and has limited resources. While Emmitt can build things faster,
But steve is smarter then Emmitt,
And He could definitely outsmart Emmitt and possibly could get the first killing blow, plus he can repair his weapons.
