Elephantiasis Of Lower Limb.

A 37years old female presented with a swelling in one limb for 20 years. This was due to filariasis. Over years the foot became completely deformed. The skin had become thick and hard. This skin was compared to an elephant’s skin. This too is hard and thick. Hence, such a limb in filariasis is called Elephantiasis.
