All I have to say is he seemed like a fun guy to work with. Everyone at KTLA seem like fun people to be around and to work with.

Condolences to the Rubin and KTLA families. It will be so different without seeing him on Channel 5. His smiles, laughter, voice, and presence, such as at award shows (i.e Oscars) will forever be engrained in the lives of many. He joins the legendary KTLA reporters who brought excellence to news coverage (i.e Hal Fishman, Larry McCormack, Stan Chambers), and have come and gone. He will forever be missed. Thank you, Sam!

Feeling sad about Sam, growing up in LA, I will miss him
Reminded me when Hal Fishman passed. He was an icon of southern California news and so was Sam Rubin. Now their both in the big KTLA news room in the sky

@@RealalmaI was thinking the same thing . I been having friends and family members die over the same thing it's either a heart attack or aneurysm or stroke!! This is just the beginning. My immediate family which is my kids and myself didn't get the jab but from my Mom and Dad and siblings including their kids got it so I'm really worried

Thank you. Recently I felt like I was having a heart attack. I immediately called 911, it was a reaction to a medication. I didn’t want to take any chances. It’s so hard to identity what’s going on.
