After seeing this video 📹 i tried to save my betta fish and it survived and it is now doing well Thank you for telling the way to cure betta fish may god bless you 😇
When I got my betta she was not healthy and not well maintained. Me and my dad did everything we could and saved my beautiful betta fish she is with me for the past 7 months now. I am always positive and praying that my betta doesn’t leave me forever. Her name is bloom and she has a beautiful tourquise color. I am happy that your betta survived. I am sorry for the people who lost their fish. I love you bloom and I will never let anything happen to you😍😍😍
I’m watching this rn as I think moonlight my Betta is slowly drifting off 🥺, I don’t have these medicines and I think tonight is his last. I love him sm and pray for the best. You’ll be ok moonlight. ♡︎ 😭
This is happening to me right now :( I’m balling and everyone’s laughing at me saying “it’s just a fish” and it’s breaking my heart I can’t do anything about it he’s just at the bottom of his bowl breathing but he can’t swim
I'm glad you saved him. It freaking hurts to see your fish dying right in front of your eyes and yesterday i sadly lost him. I used paracure and stress reducer but he wasn't reaponsive much. Hope he is happily swimming in the heaven❤️💫
I saw a video of betta cruelty in Walmart yesterday, and I was wondering why one of the bettas was swimming in a blue liquid. Now I know it wasn't a harmful liquid. This was cool of you to record, thanks! Very imformative, and I'm planning on getting a betta soon. ^-^
My betta fish(Vasu) surviving the same today .but due to lockdown i am unable to buy any medicine right now... 😭😭😭😭 I hope he can survive till tomorrow so that i can cure him like u said.. 😭😭😭 Please pray for him...
My Betta, Glenn, is really sick, and I'm not sure exactly what it is. Can someone help me out please? He is losing color (turning white), he sits at the bottom of the tank not moving, he's not eating, he sometimes rolls on his side, rarely goes up for air, his breathing is really fast, and he sometimes just goes crazy and darts around he tank and sinks back to the bottom again. I forgot how big his tank is, we have a water heater, but not a filter. We changed the water a few days ago. He was sick before then, he's not getting better. We use fake plants but they're not plastic. This is my first time having a Betta, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
You need to filter your water and do you have tested water they need to have treated water like distilled water also make sure that the distilled water is not drinking water ok also the reason it’s doing that is because it’s in pain and it needs distilled water ok
Its fin rot. I had the same thing happen to my male betta I had. Sadly, I didn't know what to do to make him healthy again (he was my first betta). And I had gotten a female afterward to try having a betta again, this time doing a lot of research. At the time I lived with my family. And now I moved out into a new city and guess what? The city I live in now has high chlorine levels. My female betta along with my guppy and chinese algae eater I had in the tank with her all got sick. What I didnt know was that they were getting burned even though I had used Aquasafe (a water conditioner that works, but isnt the best) and it hadnt worked to dechlorinate my water enough. I use Prime water conditioner now and LOTS of live plants. And also Imagitarium Biological booster. Just have to do lots of research.
What you need to do is to a 50 percent water change everyday or every other day, and get some treatment (here are bottles of treatment or you could even use salt.)
Few days ago my betta fish had a near to death experience. She wasn’t eating at all and had signs of fungal infection. I treated her with methylene blue and Paracure for 3 days and her health was improved but she still wasn’t eating and again started to stay at the bottom of the pot. Then I added an almond leaf in the pot about which I read on the Internet and this is when the miracle happened. She is healthy now, eats well and loves to swim around in the tank. It took 8 days for her recovery but I’m happy that this worked.
You putting all as Overdose... food also don't give more than 5 pellets at a time because that will become larger in its size inside the fish stomach with the presence of water.
+Surdeep Devanathan sir I know that he is a nice and kind fish but this fish wasn't meant too be in a pond with goldfish. maybe in the wild because that betta was born in the wild but betta from stores or breeders can easily get sick and aren't as hardy. also I wouldn't give it as much food as you did because of the fact it's not in the wild and the food is processed. I have been working with fish for years please take my advice to consideration.
My betta were in a tank together for months and I got up this morning and my female had torn all his fins off almost...torn him up bad and I'm so worried I can't save him. I've bought over $100 in medication. I've added API AquaSafe, API Stress Coat, API Melafix, Betta Revive (which made the water blue), some API aquarium salt and Almond Leaves for the tannins ....please if you have any advice let me know what I can do? 😭🙏🏻
@@Fishguy thank you, I already seperated them and my male is in a jar with meds which I pray he recovers. The female even nipped off both pectoral fins... Will they grow back when he recovers? 😓
I lost my Betta a month ago. No visual illness at all, still ate up until the day before he died. Just seemed slow, not active. I rescued him from a woman who didn't want him anymore so I wasn't sure of his age. RIP Jojo.
My fish died today bc of sickness and suffocating... I’m really sad rn even tho it’s just a fish it still has a life... I wish he’s in a better place now, R.I.P. Bob.
You can just buy the new betta fish....but you have very nice and kind heart to protect the fish and save it....because life is life and life is better than money bcause you only get it once.
I already set this all up, but my betta suicides himself by jumping off the tank :( One survived One more died because he didnt want to eat :( RIP those 2 bettas
Aw I’m so glad he was saved. I really wish I would have seen this video earlier, I lost my beautiful betta boy Cerulean in the night before Valentine’s Day of this year. It’s so hard losing fish friends 🐟 ❤️

Hello Surdeep! Congrats on helping your betta recover. Did you leave him in the bowl the whole time or just dipped him for a while then moved him to another tank?
I'm sad just looking at this video! Sitting here at 2:20 am near my betta (trouble) while he slowly fight with for his life!!!!!Neverwouldicare!!! I healed him once and now its this. Wish I had those items now. But I am glad you saved your fish and thank you for this video!!
**I had a beta that I named Lazy Red because he always laid on the ground. I didn't know that he was sick, until it was to late. I bought a new one about a week & a half ago & now this one is sick.😔 ****Thanks for the video... I'll purchase these things tomorrow.
Super happy you rescued him, he’s a very strong fish! However, and I’ve realized others have said this too, but a pond is NO PLACE for a betta! The temperature is too cold and unregulated (wait.. are there giant pond heaters?) and the other fish such as goldfish are cold water fish and larger, causing the betta much more stress- tropical and cold water fish should not be mixed. I’m glad that you realized what happened and you cared enough to treat your little betta friend and raise him up well, that’s the important part, to learn from a mistake! But if he’s still doing well, please find him a five gallon tank at minimum and a heater and possibly some air stones- he wouldn’t get along well in a giant coldwater pond. Best of luck and great job!
It seems like your other fish seem to be fine, so if possible, do some more research on a certain fish before purchasing, just to know their needs! Thank you!
I had a betta. He was also a sweet guy. When I introduced some more colorful guys I was scared he would fight, but he was instead like a king accepting new people in the kigdom. I didn´t know what killed exactly, something with his swimming bladder, and I didn´t knew what to do for him or where to buy the stuff. But now that I have investigated more, I will now know what to do...But I can´t buy a fish due to quarentine being diffucult in my country, so I shall wait.
My betta almost died, he couldnt even swim to the surface to get air. He's a crowntail and his tail was looking really bad because of the infection. I took him out and placed it into a tiny bowl of fresh new water, the height of the water was 1 inch because I thought that would help him reach the surface. After a day he starts to be a little more active but still wouldnt eat. The second day he's even more livelier and he eats the pellet but couldn't swallow it. So I crushed the pellet. He's only able to eat one. The next day he ate 3 crushed pellets. The fourth day I moved him back to his original aquarium and he was swimming healthy and back to his normal self, he was able to swallow a normal pellet too. I am so happy
I appreciate what you did! This is honestly the best video on curing fin rot. No hate, I'm curious how you keep goldfish and Betta together? Cause goldfish need colder water and Betta need warmer?
How I wish I could save my betta! He's going to die any moment and I'd do anything for him to get better again. I don't know what happened. I gave him the best home. Always cleaned his tank, always had a clean water, had real plants, heater, filter, live food bloodworms. But it's his 3rd week with not eating at all, and just laying flat on the bottom, ready to go.😥😥😥
I'm on day 4 of trying to revive a samurai Betta i purchased at my local Petco the other day. Physically, he looked fairly healthy, with a beautiful black and white body with short fins. It wasn't until i acclimated him into his new 10 gallon that i realized there's a problem. He's very weak, and upon inspecting him more thoroughly, he doesn't look malnourished, but his muscle structure appears very weak and not nearly as thick as my other healthy male (i now have 2 males and 2 females, all in separate tanks). I'm guessing the little guy was in that shitty little cup for quite some time to get to the state he's in, but he's a fighter. Everytime i feed, he eats. Have him almost strictly on a high protein diet, twice a day for now trying to build his muscle and strength back up, as he lays on the bottom most of the day right now. He is in a blackwater environment to help with fungus and bacteria, as well as alternating 6 minute, lighter dose salt baths every other day for now. The will to live in this little guy is incredible, and unless the damage done is just to severe to be reversed, I'm determined to do everything i possibly can to ensure his survival. Fingers crossed.
Whenever I do the Methylene Blue bath I just leave it for an hour but depends on the severity of there illness. After that I do return them on their tank that has an Indian Almond leaves to extend the medication but in a natural way.
Update everyone. Day 2, Betta is getting better! Although pet smart didn't have what was mentioned in the video. They had Lifeguard All in one treatment 😁 He's getting better!!

afieQ1992 it does require a lot of patience! I'm glad u've done your best!
My betta fish dying for 13 hours and then she is gone, she leaved me and her sister ( Lily )

I appreciate what you did! This is honestly the best video on curing fin rot. No hate, I'm curious how you keep goldfish and Betta together? Cause goldfish need colder water and Betta need warmer?
I'm currently saving my betta I hope pasha makes it. I think he will.
How I wish I could save my betta! He's going to die any moment and I'd do anything for him to get better again. I don't know what happened. I gave him the best home. Always cleaned his tank, always had a clean water, had real plants, heater, filter, live food bloodworms. But it's his 3rd week with not eating at all, and just laying flat on the bottom, ready to go.😥😥😥
They should only have live food bloodworms once or twice a week, it should not be a whole meal thing
My lil guy is not doing well . Thank you for this video I ordered some medicine and I hope it saves him.
Good to hear...
