I feel like cartographers are really underrated. it can do a bunch of stuff but the most important is the glass trade. If you infect and cure the cartographers 2 times it will make the trade 1 glass panes for 1 emerald. And with the librarian, you could get infinite emeralds just by doing that. No farms, no heavily grinding. What I've done is use 48 cartographers to make shulkerboxes and shulkerboxes of blocks of emeralds. and it gives lots and lots of xp. Overall great video and keep up the good work
What I do is that I exploit cartographers by going to a large beach, and I milk every single drop of sand. I smelt the sand and sell it as glass panes. My survival world has about 6 stacks of emerald blocks
Weaponsmith, toolsmith and armorer should share the 3rd place as they all provide renewability to diamond gear and also turn iron farms into emerald farms
They're the smiths, and they're 2nd best to Farmer, the Villager reproducer, Cleric, the Ender Pearl donor, Librarian, the OP Nerd, and Fletcher, the guy who you can make a lot of Emeralds off of just 1 Dark Oak Tree's logs.
You HEAVILY underestimate shepherds because of how often you can cheer sheep. Their wool grows back so fast you can just keep going at it until your shear’s durability runs out and you can also buy shears from those guys to shear even more wool. In short they are the biggest emerald generator in the game and I would personally rank them at above average.
💯 agree, not only do you get emeralds for wool, which can be acquired very quickly in the wild, they can also give you beds and banners for cheap. For me, cartographers are completely useless unless You refuse to use a seed map.
@@TheHonorlord Cartographers are good emerald generators if you trade in a lots of paper. In fact that was my second biggest export in my Minecraft world.
@@kylos1999 I agree cartographers are one of the best. You can buy glass from librarians, convert it to glass panes and trade with the cartographers. You will get a profit don't even need to cure them
I don't know if the trades are same in java and bedrock, in bedrock they also trade any random dye for an emerald and dyes are not that hard to obtain though
One thing I would like to say about the shepherds is that they can be useful if you get them to accept white dye for emeralds and then set up a kelp bone meal farm, one of my favorite afk methods for getting emeralds.
I remember setting up a skeleton spawner farm and getting a villager that trades white dye for it, basically infinite emeralds, especially if you know what void trading is
cartographers also have glass pane for emerald trade. with auto furnaces and zombie discounts they can be OP. also clerics sell xp bottles and that’s the only way that item can be obtained. i’m a fan of brownie ice cream

Personally, I love the Mason-Librarian combo. Set up an iron farm to turn Masons into emerald generators, then set up a sugar cane and cow farm for paper and leather for books, and you can afford any enchant in the game whenever you want. An old server I played on came back online after a few years, and the first thing I did when loading into the new survival world was worked on establishing a librarian trading hall. Every enchant in the game at max level, meaning not only was I not completely screwed if I lost my gear to dying, as I could just re-trade for the enchanted books, but I also became arguably the most powerful and valuable player on the server because of that. I alone could decide if a player spent hours or days enchanting to get the right enchants, or simply was given access to my librarians to get what they want right away.
Considering your tier lists, you could build 5 different towns, from bad to awesome, only using the materials and the entities that fall under that tier!
10 clay for 1 emerald > 32 sticks for 1 emerald Even when cured, 1 clay for 1 emerald > 1 stick for 1 emerald. Sticks will always be useful for the player, even if you have a surplus (tools, torches, etc). Whereas clay can be used for.. bricks?.. flower pots?. And a few other things that no one will ever need in bulk. It may just be me living in a lush cave biome but I'd much rather utilise the clay trade rather than the stick trade. The mason is also more useful for emeralds, stone for an emerald? Very good if you have access to silk touch through a librarian or other means, granite, diorite, andesite for an emerald? Very useful trades seeing as there is an excessive amount of those commodities present in the minecraft caves. The fletcher offers an emerald for tripwire hooks which is decent, enchanted bows and crossbows which you will only need 1 of the majority of the time and tipped arrows which can sometimes be useless like arrows of healing.
In my current world, the first zombie villager I cured I turned into a farmer. 1 emerald for 3 golden carrots is an amazing deal and makes it so I never have to worry about food ever again

To me all of them are the best, not the nitwit of course.
But yeah, I have all of them in my world. I have 26 stacks of emeralds because of them. I didn't even need to waste diamonds on armor since some villagers sold me them.
Personally, I’m between mint chocolate chip and cookies and cream. They’re both so good
My favorite ice cream flavor is definitely rotten flesh.
Try making a video abt potions tier list
i will sometime in the future
What about wandering traders?
Since 1.16, nitwits are able to participate in iron farms. Even before 1.16, they can breed. Nitwits are not the most useless creature anymore. Bats are.
cookie dough ice cream tastes really good
You should make a minecraft pet tier list! (Including mobs that you can gain their trust like foxes and ocelots)
