Looks awesome! You should build a mini trailer to haul the rc’s
i didn't know i needed a mini trike. that thing is waaaaay cool
Note the lack of storage space in the back of the Gladiator.
And the trike
I was looking more at how the trike has a better looking wheel and tire package then the gladiator
Should have bought a truck!
I easily hauled a couple 4x8 sheets of plywood in my wife’s minivan the other day with the hatch completely shut. Can you do that in a gladiator?
Build a small trailer for the trucks
A matching wheel, RC trailer would look so crazy!
I’m really just worried about having to haul another big piece around.
That's just too cool Josh!! Thanks for the build vid.
You’ve really stepped up your scale interior game. Awesome video lol 👍
Gator skin going in everything now!
SICK! I love it. Maybe incorporate a back rest into the RC caddy?(gives you room to stack two without them smacking you in the back) Cannot wait to see this RIP!
I think I would weld up a basket off of the back for those RC Racers like you typically see on a FWD
If you haven't made a decision yet on the truck rack for the back, may I make a suggestion? A simple bar straight up the center, then mount a double hook on each side, the sort of rubber coated ones made to hang shovels or rakes on a wall. then simply hang a truck on each side by the axle. Then mount a plastic pelican style case on the top of the bar over the trucks, motorcycle topbox style to put your radio/batteries in.
That’s a unique idea. Interesting though for sure. I’ll kick it around.
Trailer, handle bar/ front fender mount, rear fender mounts, rear rack... All great rc mounting/carrying ideas!
That is one sweet unit! Can’t wait to see it finished!!
Awesome mini build
It’s like the Oprah show… you get a collar, you get a collar everyone gets a collar.
Ya know, this could be a radio control with a few modifications... That would be a cool series...
That’s what she said at 10:03 lol great build can’t wait to see more
To transport trucks, what about having them sitting vertically-ish - on their back wheels? There looks to be enough space to have two side by side.
Great videos of the trike, I appreciate you putting them together, considering buying one but always like seeing other opinions and not just a company promoting their own build. Waiting for part 3.
Need ya a basket on the front with a 'ching-ching' bell. 😁 Can't wait to see you get it running. Those tires are perfect.
Hey man really hope you know your gonna have massive interference with the lower frame rail where the secondary pulley opens under speed/power !!I Used to race shifter carts and so did my little brother and he was in the class that ran predators! And theres no way theres enough room for that to open!!!
I’ll look at clocking it upward.
Nice pit ride! Just to make it a little more comfortable, you might consider moving the foot pegs forward to the curve of the frame.
As for carrying RCs I was thinking a large basket with 2 pieces of 7/8" tubing attached to the bottom that could slide into some 1" tubes welded to the rear of the frame.
A basket would be easy I agree, but I am thinking of something more fabricated so it has a cool look. Still undecided.
Add a rack to the front fork like on a touring bicycle gives you a place for the transmitters or a 3rd rig
I imagine that thing is going to be ridiculously fast with that motor and the cvt. I've seen guys getting like 35mph from the mini bikes swapping to that trans on a stock engine. 😆
I’ll gear down or limit the throttle if needed! That’s too fast!
My favorite part is that 3 mini trike wheels and tires barely fit in the jeep “bed”
Are your neighbors concerned about the amount of time you spend talking to yourself in the garage?
Can’t wait to see the trike ripping around!
Was literally gonnna ask the same thing! I imagined some old lady out walking her dog with her grandkid an her looking over and seeing him just having a full on conversation to him self an her grabbing her grandkids arm like "c'mon little Timmy you needa to stay away from that house that guys crazy!"🤣
You said it "silly" ha looks like a riot of fun!
Been waiting on this all weekend
What about a pull behind cart to haul tiny trucks
Do you have a parts list of all the accessories that you purchased to put your trike together?
Cool video Josh
Make a tall silly bar 70’s chopper style and mount a basket for the rc rigs
Pretty cool dude, looks like just enough to seriously hurt yourself on.
It seems to me the obvious powertrain should be electric motor based. An electric bike/mini-bike/mini-moto/or any EV really, is just an RC car... except without the RC. In place of the radio, you just have actual control connected by wires instead of a radio link.
I'm thinking a sissy bar like on the back of choppers then rig up something like how you display the tucks in your studio for hauling.
Run a bolt on rack off the seat pan so you can remove it later for your backpack or rig. Design up a flat aluminum or titanium or carbon fiber belt guard, like custom Harley belt guards, to send off when you send out for the rear rack. A front platform for second rig mounted straight so you could use the rig's lights as your head lights on the front. Use a gopro style mount to connect it to your front risers so you can attach and detach easily. Will also act as front fender incase of dirty conditions. Or make fenders for the rear tires and make those your RC racks too.
It needs a sissy bar up the back with mounting bars kinda like the shelves in your studio.
Looks so cool. To bad we can't drive those things on the public roads in the Netherlands, I would have considered buying and building one.
LOOKING GREAT SO COOL 🇬🇧🇺🇲🕊️✌🏼🤩👍🏼🤙🏼
Pretty cool Josh!! I'm thinkin 18" ape hangers with a handle bar basket!! hahaha
If these bars don’t work like I want, I’ll do some 14’s maybe 😁
Dude...that Ghost is a BEAST BTW-Cool Seat!!
My wife wants to know if you’re building a side-car for your cat to ride with goggles on. I thought “he’s gonna do that for sure”.
Little red wagon trailer with matching tires.
Or just a red wagon tub off the wheelie bar, you could mount it with more hiems.
Les Schwab colab!
Love it! Can't wait to see it finished.
I think you were just supposed to flip the front tire around the other way... To move the offset the other way...
That's gonna look sick in bright orange powder coat 😉.
Pearly white creamsicle!
Now you need a little wagon with some fat tires as well for those rc's 😎😎
Looking good so far.
Looks better than I imagined and looking forward to seeing more videos on this. I would probably go with a trailer. That way you could have a cooler with you too and some better padding for the RCs during transport. You could then go really crazy and add some servos to the trike so you can switch models on your Futaba and drive the trike to where you are. What ever you decide will be entertaining to watch.
I just don’t want to have to haul a trailer with me. The gladiator is short on bed space 😁
Make alittle cart that you can attach and detached needed.
That's gonna be a little ripper!. A good name for it to. Hahaha. Nice dude!. eBay turbo time!!!!! hehe
That’s lookin fantastic n loads n loads fun u only need little plate to mount the springs for seat I’m supriced they didn’t use the sprocket as the brake disc as well all in 1 Carnt wait c it progress m8
Refreshing change of pace great video 💯👍
Looks awesome
What if you just had a little trailer for it?
The trike addict has found a new low😅...low to the ground that is 😎nicce piece of kit ...but wayy over powered. by the way add some solid mudguards, and that will give you more room for a box for rc equipment and mounting your trucks....Simples🤓
Great, now I NEED a trike!
Super cool!
Josh: "How silly is this?"
Me: Very silly 🤷♂️ I WANT ONE!!!
Any of those RC’s that are on the side. I clean up beat to death Rc cars and trucks one leg out to the crusher I clean up for you!!! I really like how the trike is coming along it really looks well made they didn’t skimp on material size that’s for sure . At the rate your going you’ll be riding to get coffee by Tuesday. Can’t wait to see more
Being harley designs this makes total sense
I say build a trailer for crawlers, LOL
Nice 👍🏽
I'd put a big 'ol tractor seat on that sucker! But then again, I'm old, it's all about the butt-comfort...🙂 As far as hauling RC's, Might consider just making a little trailer, or converting one of those Home Depot steel garden carts... then you only have to design a hitch on the trike, just opens up more options, INMHO
I don’t want to haul a second item like a big trailer.
@@HarleyDesignsInc I understand, but it doesn't have to be "big" necessarily, just a little 2 wheel job you can detach easily, doesn't have to "haul" a whole lot, but it might be a little easier than engineering a detachable basket, I dunno. I'm sure whatever you do will look great
I'm suprised it didn't come from Vanquish! 😆👍
9:50 scary fun is badass 🤘
Like when Frank Zappa wrote a symphony and conducted the London Symphony Orchestra. Yeah!
Still in the dancing rider phase I see 😜
Trailer bro, fab up a cool pull behind unit, matching wheels and tires 😎 wrap it with your logo, or alligator skin ha
Send it off to powder coating! Sweet project!
Left side / right side sitting on the vehicle. Rider is in the center.
Also put the rc cars over the rear tires on either side with the rc tires almost touching the trikes tires almost like fenders!!!🤣🤣
That trike is so awesome. Could you make a rack that would catch a front or rear axle and allow the trucks to hang vertically? This way it doesn’t take too much space behind you when you are not toting rigs
I vote for a front rack for the RC carry setup. Look up bikepacking rigs.
Yeah I want one now.. thanks a lot.. :)). Is mounting the rigs on the front out of the question? .. just a thought
I didn't even mess around, I'm waiting for a turn-key trike from TGV.
Make a trailer to match the trike, haul crawlers and tools, etc and you can drop the trailer if you just want to play!
Sometimes the front hub would bolt into the other side of the rim to center up the load on the front tire maybe possibly why the offset was wrong
Could totally be!
So badass! 💪🏾😎
Diggin the pit trike for sure dude! Extend the wheelie-bar & drop a plate with a couple bends (lip) in the open space to haul rigs?
hey man u can us deep wall sockets for bar spacers don't it alot on real bikes..
y not make the crawler hual area where the rig is on its side or like a 45 to 55 degree angle then u can stack them on top of each other but sideways lol
I don't care what Matt says, I like it thou, lol
He hates fun! 😎
This thing is sick. How about something saddle bag like for rigs over the rear wheels just an idea
Very impressive! I was into mopeds for a while. Still have a Honda elite & Spree🤦♂️! Lol. My wife makes fun of me for them. But I just can’t sell😁
That looks cool
You could fit 4 on the back easy and side ways, just put them behind the tyres. Make like a double T bracket then the rigs can go on top of the T's
I got mixed feelings on that frame but I'm still thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis jealous of the build. i wants another ruckus methinks 🤘🍻🤘
I want one now !! So cool
I feel like you should have did more research on wheel spacers, wheel spacers and torque converter, which you need engine spacers to get the right alignment.
I didn’t need any spacers for the torque converter. Everything ended up lining up fine there. The only issues I ended up having was purchasing incompatible sprockets and hubs.
Wow! Are those welds even penetrating???
Sissy bar and have brackets for the rc
Make a trailer for the RCs
The only motorsport where the pit-bike is bigger than the actual pits…
I was thinking maybe a way to carry the trucks in the front... Or.. all that room up between your legs and the handle bars... A ton of room
Looks like a fun toy.
BMI has a motor plate #600839 which allows you to move engine laterally!
Could mount one rig on the rear and another off the forks. The fork mount could clamp on just above the bottom of the "trees" to make it easily detachable.
Wow love it man
Rear fenders, you could carry 2 rigs and not get hit with rocks dirt or what gets stuck in the tires.
I still say the seat needs a fox shock or two instead of the springs. Maybe add some "Highway pegs" so you can stretch your legs a little. The only part that seems a little cramped to me is the foot peg position.
Cool project, lookin great! That will be fun to ride. Electric conversion in the future??? lol
They built electric versions as well but I really had no interest in it. I wanted the gas build specifically.
@@HarleyDesignsInc Didn't realize they did that also, sounds good. Sort of a flippant comment on my part given all of the gas to electric conversions going on these days. 🤡 Looking forward to seeing more of this one!
go power sports is a awesome place for parts
