I'm just a paralyzed guy from Southwest Arkansas in the town of 1300 people and let me tell you how awesome it would be if you did a build on a off-road wheelchair. That would be so awesome! And I feel like it would get you a lot of views
It’s coming along nicely Donn! Fantastic skills 😊 There’s something really fun about mini bikes, they have a way of bringing you back to being a kid, the simplicity of an engine and two wheels 😊👍
Cheers, Mike! I've watched your video where you and your brother buy and ride minibikes several times now. I hope to do the same with my brother but on homemade minibikes. I'm planning to build three of these fat tire bikes (two of them off the air) so our father can also join us.😄 We're all small kids in our hearts.
This thing is looking awesome! I can't wait to watch you rip this thing! And man, that jig is so nice, you might as well go into business building these things! Donn-DIY Monster Mini Bike!
You always have something interesting on the bench. Thanks for keeping us entertained! Love to see a follow-up video of your past projects and how they are holding up. That ATV build is definitely one for the highlight reel!
That bender sounds like I do when I wake up. Anyway, very nicely thought out and the use of your simple jig has made your assembly work come out awesome! Excellent craftsmanship as usual Donn and I look forward to seeing this project completed and ripping around the yard!!!
Great job so far , you never fail to amaze me with your skill and ingenuity. I particularly love the use of the mill to create the "birds mouth" on the tubes with the correct angle , orientation and distance relative to each other 👏👍. Bravo , keep up the good work.
major workshop envy, that man cave is stacked out with all the awesome tools! If anyone needs lazer cut wheel hubs, engine mount plates and general weld on tabs etc we got a load produced that could make your fat bike build more acheivable if you don't have access to lazer cutters and mills etc.
Man that's impressive! I watch all your videos and me and my dad we're laughing talking about how lost we would be would be trying to do all that fabrication and the damn wiring. Hats off for you and your patience LOL
Moving right along on the FAT TIRE MINI BIKE build. Looking great !! Thanks for sharing Donn. Lil Man will enjoy that rig around there. Stay safe, Fred.
@8:40 I think that’s the step many people forget when they’re trying to bend parallel bends. I’ve seen many put the angle finder on the pipe but not confirm the level of the bender. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Wow, Donn. What an impressive build. I would have never guessed that the steel frame was actually a very intricate fixture jig. Great video, and keep up the great work
Let's hope so, I weigh 100kg / 220 lbs naked. But I'm sure you didn't want to know that. What I'm trying to say is that this bike has to endure my presence.🤣
Cheers! Let's hope it'll be functional as well. I want to use it at the homestead for hauling my butt around from point A to B so I don't have to start up any other bigger vehicle. I will probably be disappointed in the 6.5-7HP petrol engine though...🤔
Nice head-tube jig design. You set it up with it resting against the frame jig so you could just drop it down and everything would be in place when you were done with it. It was not obvious what you were doing when you started.
This is one awesome build. Like your attention to detail is amazing. I'm just wandering why you didn't add any suspension, like a rear swingarm? As a kid I've ridden the fat tire bikes. They'll go about anywhere , but really bouncy. Back then it didn't bother me , but now older , and several back surgeries it would be Ruff , Ruff. But given a chance to have this bike I sure wouldn't complain. I grew up around a small engine shop. Dad also had a fab shop. I , a long with neighborhood kids built "deathtrap" bikes from scrap. At that time none of us had the skill level you have. What we put together, we would work on for a couple days to ride until something broke , and then weld more crap on to it. Finally, they looked like Mad Max vehicles 😂. But it kept us from listening to jazz music , and turning into Riff Raff 😁😂😆🤣
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼…………………………………………………….Even built a frame jig………………………For a mini bike……………………………Ok, I’m impressed. LOL I should have expected no less! And you are building your own forks. 😳 You are serious when you say you are making something from scratch.
Nice build 👍 I have dreamed something similar. Same tires 125cc atv engine 3+R semiautomatic gearbox. Long gargo basket in the rear and option for track and ski for winter.
nice build - can see a couple of issues though (all of which i'll be happy to be wrong about): - the head tube bearings won't last long, standard roller bearings are not designed for axial loads. - suspect your triple trees will bend although those tyres may compensate. - the lack of a frame member between engine/rear wheel is also a weak point. the tubes are beefy but the frame may flex - could be a benefit depending on how much.
I noticed the 1st 2 things too - was looking before asking about bearings. Maybe he could use a thrust bearing instead or as well (planned?) or add some metal to take axial (upwards) load (metal on metal)? I thought the tires might be used quite flat to serve as suspension and keep that front plate from bending at the 1st good bump but they don't look it now. Probably easy enough to reinforce the plate. Cool build though. Perhaps in soft ground it's fine too.
It'll be interesting to see how you address the gas tank fill cap issue. Unless you just let it go like it is. However, it looked from the video like it would be a pain to fill with gas.

whats the tire size ? and brand ?
22x11-8" ATV trailer wheels. Don't recall the brand at the moment.

Wow! Nice build. I have incredible respect for a man of your talent. Very impressive!
Dude if I ever had a fabrication company I’d want u as the leader. Smart, your very just smart
Thank you for the job offer but unfortunately I'm not interested.😬🤭🤣
I can make u American , I really do have a fab shop. lol oh and I know I’m joking nobody wants to be a American lol

@@DonnDIY Right on! You guys are going to have a blast (Fun Times) on those mini bikes 😊👍
Какой интересный проект ты начал, теперь буду с нетерпением ждать продолжение постройки крутого болотного мотоцикла.
What an interesting project you started, now I will look forward to the continuation of the construction of a cool swamp motorcycle.
Nice to see welds and bending done correctly and with precision, excellent work i ready enjoyed the video

Monster Mini sounds great 👍😄
Make some cool art and put that on the side! This thing is going to be a bruiser for sure! I can't wait to see you ripping it!@@DonnDIY
Way cool, Donn. One of your best . . .
Mr Chop✓ Tube bender✓ CRC cutter✓ and that rounding bit✓ . . . way, way cool.
Superb pipework.
Right tackle, right skills, right vision. Awesomeness.

Yup, I sound like that too😛
That is some serious tube bending & notching right there! 👌🍻 Looks like Mr. Chop got some new “teeth” too!

Using a mill is a bit of an overkill though. A simple notcher would do the job.👍
Your fabrication skills are off the chart.
Dude you can build anything. Excellent workmanship. ❤
That is going to be great fun to ride!! Nice work Donn.
I hope so too. Thank you for watching.🙏👍
Mista CHOP is back! Great video as usual.

A bit too big rig for the little fella still. So I'm gonna use it until he's of age.🤣

Brilliant work my man!
That's looking pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Can't wait to see the piece finished...👍👍👍👍😎😎
Yup, I already want to rip around on it. But I'm afraid I'm gonna be disappointed in the preformance of this industrial 200cc 6,5HP engine.😛
Great start! Awesome bike! 👌👍
Neat and chubby little feller!
That one will be superb as a light "assrelocater" around the farm😂😂
Wow wow wow. Perfect editing and perfect welding 😊
thats gonna be one serious sturdy motorbike !
cheers ben.

nice project ❤❤❤
Don't have to worry about her getting stuck in the mud!❕❕Maybe put some snow chains on for the snow and ice as well.
Yup, perfect machine for a look-around throughout the property.🤗
