I was thinking the other day...
"Is it actually possible to beat Minecraft Bedrock Edition on a Flat World with only using the Bonus Chest with some slight modifications to it?"
This my dudes, is just that!
:P
I have recorded all of my time in this world, as you probz know that Minecraft can be very random at times so I didn't want to miss a thing!
I have chopped up all the footage to share my experience with you & I also came up with some great strategies & farm ideas along the way too which may help you if you decide to follow along.

So far, I have survived for 100 days but I would really like to continue this challenge idea on & maybe even fight the ender dragon somehow but, tbh I haven't thought how or even if I could fight her yet?!

Dan, I know you already completed this series, but I found out that you can use trap doors as a pen for animals. They wont jump over them, and you wont have to worry about putting wool on top of the fence so you can jump over. You can just jump over the trap doors. I did it on my survival realm, and its a life saver.

I'm currently attempting this myself and honestly all you need to cheat in is a bucket of lava, 2/3 blaze rods, and the end portal frames
Yeah the other things were probably for convenience
you can get lava from blacksmith, only thing you can get tho

There is actually a map where you open chests to get chests that contain Items and you keep opening them until you eventually have good items and beat the wither, although it's a very old map.

If you decide to go for 200 days. I think you can trade emeralds for apples with a farmer, although I might be misremembering. Also I think wandering traders can also sell oak saplings but I am not sure on that either. I know that the villager job for the brewing stand can sell redstone, glowstone, enderpearls, and will buy rotten flesh. If you can get a smithing table then you can get armor. Unless that was from a different job. The best thing you can get from a villager that sells armor is diamond armor. If I have an information wrong, please let me know. I would love to make sure that no misinformation is spread.

@@amorky8391 unfortunately i was wrong as the lava trade i intended exchanges a bucket of lava for an emerald
I checked the trade list to see if you could get obsidian in any way and i found that in 1.17 you can obtain dripstone from the mason if i remeber correctly. With that you could farm lava and transform it in obsidian to make the portal
Bedrock is the hard mode for surviving in flat worlds.

Cool thing: any armor on a zombie will pop off when it transforms into a drown and it will be at 100% durability if im not mistaken

Sometimes if the zombie is wearing a helmet and you drown it the helmet will stay on the drowned, but otherwise, you’re correct!

Edit: it's also gonna take real long to make a cauldron but it is possible

I watch a heap of minecraft content as I've just discovered how fun the game is and this is the 1st time I've had the urge to comment... wow it was entertaining, I learnt heaps of new things, and I'm so happy it wasn't overly ambitious. Humble goals, funny moments and education the whole package. Loved it!

44:15 ik you misspoke, but that is GENIUS!! It's literally a simple way to repair your weapons, no xp or anvil. Give a zombie your weapon, turn it into a drowned, and BOOM you have a repaired item!!
Looking back on this, I'm pretty sure the only thing he needed was the lava.
He said himself that you could remove the cauldron, and that he didn't need the nether wart.
But the blaze rods also aren't necessary because a witch could throw a weakness potion at a zombie villager instead of you making one.

And if wandering traders traded buckets of lava he wouldn't even need that

I literally just did something like this, except without a bonus chest... It took a while to do lol.
Oh and the only thing I tweaked was 11 lava, an end portal, and disabling Phantoms as I didn't want to be under inside my dirt structure through every night.

Just as a expansion to the repaired gear with the drowned: when zombies drown and they have gear on them they drop that gear fully repaired and then the drowned picks up that gear and putts in on. Then when you kill them they drop it how they picked it up

I guess not anymore on bedrock. On legacy consoles they did, but I've never found villages in superflat worlds on bedrock
Yeah I used to remember that on my ps4 I used to try to destroy the whole village in creative on a flat world. But I guess villages don't spawn on flat world in bedrock. :(

Drowned farms still work in caves and cliffs, they no longer have tridents unless naturally spawned tho
They also drop copper instead of gold

When a zombie carries a dropped item. A player tool or an armor or even dropped rotten flesh. It acts as if it is name tagged and will not despawn.

I used to play custom superflat on xbox 1 edition two. I was a silly young child back in 2015 so thats how i figured out what a stronghold was

My skyblock playthroughs will never be the same with your "NEW" zombie villager cure strategy, using witches!
You actually don't need blaze rod or any type of potion crafting you can get a witch to throw a weakness potion at you and cure a villager.
And every other potion which witch throw does not harm the zombie villager

I mostly see them only throwing potions of poison & healing at themselves.

Witches also throw instant damage potions too, so you technically couldn't have hurt the zombie villager using a witch.
@@devashishthube985 instant damage doesnt hurt undead mobs, i think it heals them
42:36 Its actually not a bug. When a zombie drowns, he will drop all of his gear fully reparired. But they will imidietly pick it up again. And since they picked it up, they will drop it to 100%. This works for Armor and tools.
@Clovell No thats not how it works. When a zombie spawns with armour its every time fully repaired. And when they drown they drop it like that. But when you hit them/give them broken armour they will drop it damaged.
