You should build a birdhouse! My brother loves birds so can you build one with the birdhouse! Please!!
My Lego studio is the visual representation of chaos.
Relatable dude
Ahahah usually looks tidy judging by your videos!! This was just for the pictures/video. Soon it will be messy again!
The calm before the storm!
@@TiagoCatarino Lol no. This is my desk when I'm not recording: i.imgur.com/Ni82UR8.jpg When I'm doing a video, I just throw everything into a bag until I've finished.
😂😂😂😂
Clean and beautiful room. In such a room you want to create!!! ❤️❤️❤️
For sure!! I'm very happy its finally complete!! 😊
The OCD part of my brain just loves how you managed to organize you studio so well while keeping efficiency in mind!
Great work! Keep it up! ;-)
The OCD in me struggled a lot in the last months not standing the mess. But all is good now! Thanks! :)
We need an update on how the studio looks like today after 2.5 years! From the newer videos I see a lot has been added and changed.
Dream studio!! So clean and organized. I much prefer the white drawers you chose to the clear ones most others use. They look much nicer. Thanks for the tour!
Thanks so much! 😊 But the collection is outgrowing the drawers really fast... I will have to switch up things in the future....
Love it- appreciate the organization. I feel like any builder could easily dive in and follow your logic.
The way you organize colours is sublime.
This is a video I didn't know that I needed. I'm currently in the mist of taking my Lego collection to the next level and am currently building a studio. Over the last couple weeks I've been sorting through almost 80 lb of loose bricks and have been mowing over in my head different ways to sort these. After watching this video I have come up with my own system that will work perfect I believe. Thank you for some of the ideas
Superb, couple weeks ago i have ordered few plastic organizers and plastic food containers and with my 7 year old son we have separated brick types from each other so we can finally find the bricks we are looking for easily, great studio and great ideas, we really like these minis that you build and we use some ideas in our builds too, many thanks for this channel
Great variety of storage bins idea ranging from Ikea plastic boxes to hardware toolboxes, all the way to cut up Lego boxes; the best is Advent Calendar containers for smaller bricks which I never thought of! I have yet to break up my bricks from individual sets but maybe I will have to do just that to save some space. Truly inspiring!
That’s cool what you did to store the transparent pieces. I like individual boxes since they can be pulled out instead of trays. Using old cardboard boxes is a brilliant idea.
That is a very beautiful studio
Good job packing everything so tight while still accessible! I'm also using those advent calendar boxes, but cutting sections of cardboard boxes I hadn't thought of yet :). We use Ikea Trofast drawers, which are not as space-efficient or pretty, but you can take them out while building. Also very nice to see these small tutorials of own creations; just the stuff kids need for inspiration! Thanks!
Thank you for the nice words! This system is indeed awesome! I can get so much done, really fast! Including the tutorials! Build something fun today! :)
I'd love to have that setup! you are so organized! I'll have to look at the Ikea furniture... thats a really nice solution!
8:39 Thank you! I had an Advent Calendar container like that laying around and I thought about recycling it. However, I'm glad to have seen this video before I did, as it now gives me and idea to temporarily solve one of my sorting issues.
Love the studio! Love that you showed the colours you have the most of and the colours that you don’t have as much - separated by themselves and combined with colours that make sense, respectively. Also the fact that you repurposed cereal boxes. Neat and tidy!
My job to get finished before Christmas!! Can’t wait & thanks this has really inspired me to get organised xx It looks so lovely and bright which I love, my room is about half the size though and I need to keep bunk beds in so have lego bedding 🤣🤣 x
Oh it's so a wonderful room, so much love for dDetails, and hell yeah you have a Lot of LEGO. I'm very impressed of your Brick Collection and this very practical System you use to sort your bricks. I will mark me this Video for in ten Years if I have so many Bricks to sorted. :) And Nice Idea with the cuted Cardboxes as a sorting System.
I need to use everything I have at my disposal to sort LEGO! Sorting boxes can become quite expensive when you add all up so recycling and reusing is a good way to go!
Amazing studio, congrats!! ;) I really like how you store your bricks, it's perfectly organized!
It does work great for me!!
So far I like your system the best for storing lego. I am going to follow that system as best I can, I feel inspired. Thank you. It is really neat and tidy.
These sorted colors and pieces are so satisfying! :)
Hell Yeah love it man!! It works for you, your happy and thats all that counts!!
That's a nice room.
I'm a set collector and keep my small sets on shelves in my room, build and repack as and when. Bigger sets are stored in lego storage bricks and boxes are flat packed in case I want to sell them on or reconstruct them later.
I love that SORTED six drawers cabinets! I really don't have time for that.
But you save so much time afterwards... It's well worth the time spent!
Love your set up, I love the fact that use cardboard to cut boxes to size, that is my entire sorting method:)
Its legit! IKEA makes great furniture but those drawers are great for opening and closing because the bearings, easy accessibility! Easy access!
Great video and I love how you re-used boxes to store some of your Lego.
Thank you 🤗
A place for everything and everything in its place. Lol Very Nice set up.
Thank you for give me more ideas, how to organize my legos. I don't have a big collection as you but they're growing.
nice place - love the apartment build u did in 4 parts so smart
Lovely space you got their Tiago well deserved after all the hard work of moving and sorting...very nice light and airy not too cluttered room loved it...🙂👍❤👍❤
Thank you!! 😊 I'm so happy about it!!
Inspiring studio! Thank you so much for sharing.
You're very welcome!!
Love it!
Me encanta, realmente inspirador... Thanks for sharing.
You're very welcome!
A random Nescafe Dolce Gusto to keep all the Lego smells good...hahahaha....love it...
Looks great!!
Wowzer! Love all the sorting. Would love to build Lego in that space. Thank you for sharing TC! How many bricks do you suppose you have in those drawers???
00:00 a legend was born
So satisfying to watch you open those draws. Lego dreams
This is really nice!
Great organisation!
I watched the video just to see your sorting drawers, and I wasn't disappointed! Great studio. Quick qn, can you tell us what your light was beside the table? Thanks.
0:15 I like that LEGO youtube button! All your MOC's are cool.
Brilliant
Very nice and neat studio!
incredible. What an amazing guy.
VERY NICE ROOM!!! VERY NICE LEGO STUDIO!!!
I love it!
Super Tiago what a wonderful room
Love it!
I love it too!! 😊 I'm quite proud if I can say so myself!
You have so much good Lego 😂 I have random pieces sorted in cleaned butter tubs
Very cool set up! I don’t know if you’ll see this a year later but I was wondering if you have any advice on how to acquire a variety of all of the different pieces?
That’s so neat
love you man
Very impressive collection!
Thanks!
Hi Tiago this is the best studio you ever did i watching your creations EVERY DAY
Thank you so much 😀
welcome
Man! You look good. I like it when smart people like you are Lego RUclipsrs!🤓
Wow, thanks! :P
I like the picture frames
I LOVE LEGO
Great sorting ideas, thanks
Welcome!
Belo estúdio, e tour. Já encomendei duas Alex 😉. Obrigado pelas dicas.
Hoje descobri outra solução para os blocos, na LM: 2 kits, G50 e G51, da Tayg.
Thanks for video tour and advices. What is the reference for the storage case ?
Have you thought of doing an update video of your studio and LEGO storage. Looking at using the same ikea drawers, what do you still think of them?
You could ask Racing Brick for some tips on sorting that drawer full of wheels. He knows pretty much any wheel that ever existed, down to the mm.
I honestly wish i had a room in my house just to store and build lego as i always put my sets in my room but its getting full so idk what to do when i get more lol
Living the dream!
Trying!! Thanks Crystal!
Loved the organization !
Where to find these drawers inserts , the black and green etc . What are they called ?
Great setup! What sorting trays did you use in the drawers? Working on my own Lego setup and cant find good trays.
My idea of heaven
You should put a sticker near the drawer handler with the color found in the drawer
3:55 i wish i had that much legos :(
9:55 you should use all your fingers for more strength with the drawer and to open them easier. Just had to mention.
Can you please build a birdhouse!
Imagine having all this much lego
Thiago, may i ask uou where you found/bought these back drops you show in the video?
And thanks for sharing always such qualitative content 😁
Wow, This is amazing. I have started making a storage space for all my Lego. But it is tiring work. I love the IKEA shelf idea, but I don't know what they are. Can you remember what the name is? This is awesome.
Awesome studio Tiago! Too bad the Alex drawers don`t come all the way out..., that would be preferrable.
My inner monk approves! 👍
That is why i have seen you in denmark. Btw I live there
very clean and awesome room I want this room too :D
NOOO It's mine!!! My Precious!!! :D
@@TiagoCatarino so precious I wish I can have one too hahaha
Nice! I keep asking my parents if we can go to ikea to get some shelves and I feel like I will be able to make a great "studio" area.
Good luck!! Its amazing having a cool space to work on! It really inspires you!
Hi Tiago, could you let me know what the name of those Ikea drawer are? My office is a mess and I need to do something soon. Thank you and great video. Craig
Maybe some drawer lines would help keep the boxes and trays from sliding as you pull out the drawers?
That's a very good idea! Need to find some it really is bothering me a little ahah
I love looking at lots of round 1x1s
Same!!
Your drawer is amazing, especially if you just have began buying bricks some months ago like me...
i wonder how these things are organized in the lego offices. I assume they would have drawers full of parts too, but on a larger scale?
Thanks for the tour. Is there anything negative about the drawers you bought from Ikea other then the fact that it doesn't open all the way?
This is my ideal LEGO studio: clean and tidy.
This is one of my favourite LEGO studios in the LEGO community!!
By the way I found that Tiago is a small MOC builder and his studio is very tidy and clean but almost all of the big MOC builders don't sort all of their LEGOs.
Thank you!! I'd like to keep it this way, and hopefully also move on to bigger MOCs!
@@TiagoCatarino Will bigger MOCs come in March? and also, I have just seen your 2015 SHIPTember MOC!!! It is ultimate!!
@@mixthebrix not really sure! Let's see what time allows. But I'm running out of excuses now that the studio is done ahah
You should go over the employee gifts you got while working at Lego
Hi Tiago - Do you have a link to the minifig frame tutorial video you mentioned here? I can't find one on your channel. - Thank you, Ian
I went to IKEA recently and bought a set of these drawers. I was inspired by this video.
I have everything that you have except for lego pieces and lego sets... cuz I have a very random lego collection...
I have not been able to see in the video where you organize the common bricks. For example 2x2 brick, 2x4 brick, etc. Sorry for my lousy English, I'm from Argentina. Other than my question, I loved the organization you use.
I haven't! I keep the bricks, sorted by color in their individual boxes! Your English is great, and thanks!!
I need to move our family lego from my son’s bedroom to the spare room. That means I think I want it to be ‘neater’ than stacks of ‘really useful boxes’. Alex could be a good option
I went Alex in the end. 3 of the wide drawers with Ikea cutlery inserts and some other random dividers. OK for a first pass but might need more space for modified bricks and ‘other’
could you do a video on organizing LEGO? I have 25,000+ pieces all from set in buckets and I want to know how to start organizing them
You should check the very first videos on the channel! I cover that a lot! But I could probably make a new one indeed
Wow😍
Hi Tiago , Nice studio :) What is The name of The backdrops ? I like to use them for my photography hobby. But i cant find them on Amazon ? Kind regards Yannick
So many wheels! 🤣🤣 I’m the same, don’t know why or how I have so many 🤦🏼♀️
16:00 DANGGG
What IKEA cabinets are you using, and what’s the name of the plastic boxes you’re using? I love your setup!
It’s the “Alex” drawer unit in the large (wide) size.
