Such a beautiful song. One of my all time favovorites. As someone who grew up up in Sweden and lived over 25 years now in Australia it's wisth some sadness I say the lyrics and the subtle emotios don't translate well. The song is 10x more powerfull in Swedish simply by the nuances being lost (and I have t say suttle differences in Eva's delivery like the lack of smile from Eva (a highlight int eh Swedish version) when the spirit blows warm air so her companion will come and warm herself is compleely lost in the English version...which is a shame as my non-Swedish wife will never grasp how beutiful of a song the origina is)

You are so right! I never hade any problems being were i belong, Have Allways take care of others before myself. I've been in Finland once, and i say = One time is ok. Twice = No. You didn' t respekt me. Working with so many..i just want to understand why all this agg and anger is coming from. We are ❤- friends, No matter what. Boyzone.
The Swedish version is much better in my opinion. It has something that is very hard to just point out. It it's a more eerie, and a bit more depression overall to the song. But this version isn't bad. But listen to the Swedish to have yourself a good treat.

@ka3lam1 det beror helt enkelt på hur man är med engelskan om man föredrar den här versionen eller den svenska. den svenska faller dig mer i smaken eftersom du har svenska som modersmål. jag gillar båda versionerna men troligtvis är det för oavsett om det sjungs på engelska eller svenska så träffar orden väldigt intensivt. men om min pappa inte var engelsktalande så skulle ju jag också tycka den svenska versionen var bättre.
Helt betagande när hon flinar upp sig vid 3:15, så vackert och gracilt! Tappar dock när hon sjunger på engelska, dock inte på långa vägar lika katastrofalt som tex Gärdestad gjorde på Blue virgin isles.

Great song but terrible upload. The uncoupled limiters/dynamic compression causing the sound to wave between left and right is unbearable. Had this been a user upload it would have been understandable, but being the official channel it's inexcusable.
Also it would be nice if things were souced from the original Betacam tapes rather than VHS.
