In Video #3, we discuss capturing a screen shot that then is displayed onto the LED display. We are using LEDedit2013 with a T10000S controller and ws2801 LED strips.
If you found this video before seeing #1, 2 and have questions on how to get to this point view the other videos where I go through the basics on how to wire and set up the lights as well as configure the software to get ready for programming your light display. The next video will go over how to add scrolling text to your display.

Hi from New Zealand, Thanks for the videos, they are nice and easy to follow with clear instructions. I do have RGB pixels, which runs my FM frequency sign (just basic colours) After watching you videos..And once I get me some of the LED strips and build my board, I will go back to your videos and do the different things as you have shown..Thanks again for the videos :-)

When I screen capture this way, my colors are completely off when playing on my controller. The Preview in Led Edit is perfect, but it plays in the wrong colors on my strips. Any Ideas?

Does anyone know how to use the T8000 controller and the software setup on led edit 2014. i use a T1000 that is easily programmed by led edit. but if i try to program the leds with a T8000 i get random output not like the pattern i selected ( passage) .. Thanks

Just wanted to ask a couple of questions please.
If I wanted to set up a FRAME rather than a screen, a hollow rectangle
does the gui allow for that set up?
Secondly I also wanted to ask about file size. I wanted to use the frame
to light up a puppet show as if they were stage lights but with one push of a
button and then off it runs for say 15 to 20 minutes lighting each scene. But
would this generate huge files? thankyou! JJust want to say thankyou for these
tutorials. They are brilliant.
