Unfortunately, the manga never states BG9's shrift name. We just know he is Sternritter K, but a lot of readers assumed it was K for knowledge since he has datas and immediately studied Soifon's Munkyu Shunko. Loved your reaction as usual! Shinji's bankai wasn't in the manga but in a light novel. Kubo is feeding us well. We're also so excited to get more content since Kubo is expanding because manga readers also didn't experience this new thing with Ichigo's training. BLEACH FANS ARE EATING GOOD!!!!!
Shinji's Bankai is so broken that he could solo all the lesser quincies on his own if they were in one place. The reason why he's not allowed to use his Bankai is because it does not recognize friend from foe and it can affect his allies to. In the novel he used it to destroy an army of thousands Vasto Lorde level hollows.
Not how his bankai works 😂. It’s based off of spiritual pressure. If he were to use it in front of all quincies. The ones that are stronger would be unnafected
Small correction; It's been long time since I read it, but I think after killing all the hollows in CFYOW, he talks to himself along the lines of "I swear...your Bankai is to be used against fodder and your Shikai against strong fellows. Everything is just upside down with you, isn't it Sakanade? But that's also what I like about you." In other words, I doubt it would work against bunch of Sternritter.

Despite its dangerous power, it has a weakness : the bankai is efficient ONLY if Shinji is fighting a group or an army because there is no point against ONE person.
That ending part with Ichigo got me so interested as a novel reader in how much thier gonna show and what kubo has planend for Ichigo's further development.
Shinji's bankai basically reverses ones perception of foes and allies.....so everybody within range,be it ally or foe gets affected regardless and start attacking each other........which in actuality is busted but the conditions required are a lot to ask for because u can't afford to get any of your ally get caught up in it
Nah, Shunsui said himself that if he get caught up in shinji bankai it would affect him. I think shinji saying his bankai is for the weak is an understatement

It's a name given to basically those stuck in purgatory. Those who take the trial Ichigo is currently doing, and can't reach the end because they lose focus or can't handle the pressure. Basically, there's no turning back and the only way out keeps getting further and farther away from you the more you try to reach it. Only a few worthy people can potentially make the journey, otherwise you become "Irazusando", to forever wonder the path and never reach the exit. That's why Shunsui was sus of Ichibei, basically If Ichigo makes it then Ichibei can use him against Yhwach... if he doesn't make it, his transcendent power would be used like a battery for thousands of years to come (he won't save Ichigo... he'd rather keep a potential enemy close). Ichibei is Amanda Waller but worse😂

I love the Reed Richards/Doctor Doom dynamic that Kisuke and Kurotsutchi have. I guess I completely forgot that Quincy’s have no natural antibodies to hollows. Now it makes sense why quinces want to exterminate the hollows. It also makes sense now as to why they couldn’t steal Tensa Zangetsu. I thought it was because Ichigo was a Quincy. I was wrong. It’s because Tensa Zangetsu is already a hollowed bankai. But this does make me fear that we will never find out what Sternritters "K" and "N" stand for because if they were to reveal that, it would've been BG9 and they are very clearly dead. I also wish we had gotten more time with Shinji’s bankai. it felt like 20 seconds. I wanted it to be 20 minutes.
You can check ep 8 of Cour 1 when Soul King was first shown you will find out and that the Soul king's eyes and Ichigo's eyes in this ep looked similar

But Ywatch decide turn the battle again in his favour activating the Volstanding all his defeated Steirn Ritter (Basically Bambietta, Cang Du and BG9, the same for the Wrestler, As Nodt and three more we dont know yet) we see Ywatch activate Volstanding of 7 Steirn Ritters, but only know four of then.
