I appreciate the tip about using contrasting yarn to mark beginning and end of the chains. This will be helpful when placing them in the raddle side by side.

We have really short pegs on our warping frame and we did such a split with our last project. But we didn't think of the tell-tale waste yarn to show what joins to what. Thanks for that great idea Chris.

Some how I missed this video. Thanks for this! I know I've broken up a warp and made chains of the different colors but this idea is an interesting one.

I am moving up to 140 cm in width for my next project- had to build a rattle. Since I am working with a wool I figure I will need about 750 ends. So I figure I will need to do 3 groups of 250. Biggest project for me yet.

Great video, as always! Thank you! I have to find the one on taking the warp off the pegs and chaining. I’m not familiar with that!!

Thanks so much, Teresa! I don't think I've tackle that topic yet! But, I'll definitely put it in the queue for a future video!

Thank you Chris! I have wondered how and when- even though I am still in planning mode, almost exhausted waiting for the day I pick up my loom. I have one question, how long are the dowels on your warp board, I am going to try to be a woodworker and make a two piece "work stand", just have to find someone who can make the holes for the dowels, they have to be straight down. I am on a budget and really want to make them "the right" length and not to short. Thank you again.

Hi Ann! Mine measure 6" from the frame. But, warping boards come in all shapes and sizes! I love that you're making your own version - very impressive!

@@ActonCreative Thank you :) A more sophisticated version is sold, but that cost roundly speaking $70 and I want to spend that money on yarn ;)

@@annestrand6933 I don't blame you! Buying yarn is the most fun ever!
