My team is having a problem with the build. The ramp that the oil rolls down is not stationary and touches the mat. Shouldn’t the ramp be evaluated? They have rebuilt it twice and cant see from the instructions how to fix this.
Hello Jenn. If we understand correctly, you are questioning the ramp that lets the fuel units roll into the truck. Once you have built the truck and put it in its spot in front of the oil platform, the extra rim at the back of the truck will hold up the ramp. Hope this describes it well enough. If you still need help with it, contact us through IG and we can send you a picture or video on how to set it up. Good luck 🍀. ⚙️⚙️

For the EV3 we are showing a picture of the arms we attached to the driving base with medium motor and they are very straightforward. For Spike Prime there are build instructions in the SP software. When you click the „home“ button in the top left, the Home Screen opens up, which should have „build instructions“ on the bottom right. Scroll all the way down to „Tools“ and you will find instructions for two attachments, „lift arm“ and „dozer blade“ we use the lift arm one (modified to be longer to reach down to the table surface) for many of our SP missions. Good luck. ⚙️⚙️
@@lamontandcarineal1577 Hello. Which robot are you using? Hello Tim. If you mean to transport the truck from the red/left launch area to the blue/right launch are first and then transport it to the refueling station to position it above the oval target area, sure, that is an option. Hope that answers your question. Good luck this season 🍀 ⚙️⚙️
Hello. Other than the color changed parts, the EV3 solution is built from the base robot kit. To build the advanced driving base with the Spike Prime you will need the expansion kit. For the cart to move the fuel truck you might either need to improvise with the parts you have, since we dug into our EV3 and some extra parts to build it. But you should be able to build something similar with the parts in your base kit. ⚙️⚙️

Can the truck be delivered upside down ?
Hello. As there is nothing in the rules about it to be delivered right side up, it does not matter in which orientation it gets there.
