    I eat seaweed for the iodine and minerals because I have hypothyroid. I’m losing weight and certain health conditions are gone now👍🏻

    It is nice U mentioned all benefits but would be much beneficial if u mentioned how much need consuming per day as it causes damage if consumed with large amounts

    I have been eating dried organic seaweed... tho I didn't know it helps your whole body and has many nutients. I can't absorb all the minerals I need as I am celiac (and have malabsorption) so I'll have some, more often and try to add to stirfries.

      I know this is too late but for anyone else wondering…with regards to iodine, Dr Greger says: “The recommended average daily intake is 150 mcg/day for non-pregnant, non-breastfeeding adults, and we may want to stay below 600 mcg/day on a day-to-day basis, whereas a tablespoon of kelp may contain 2,000 mcg. I’d stay away from kelp because it has too much, and stay away from hijiki because it contains too much arsenic. “

    i eat a whole lot of nori... way too much, ts my favorite! however, how can i avoid too much iodine.. is there any with less or iodine free? i get concerned and scared about my thyroid. any help would be appreciated

      From what I read your body disposes of extra iodine. But that's the question, how much seaweed should a person consume.

    I have a big bag of spicy seaweed sheets a friend gave me, it’s the first time to try it, doesn’t taste or smell good but I was wondering why people eat this thing, then I realized it must be beneficial, but after 10 minutes of eating started to get used to the taste
