  • I first filmed this back in December 2020 and looks like nothing has changed with this place. Baffles me how the town hasn’t done anything with this area yet. I wonder what’s the hold up.

I wish you could have gotten closer to the buildings so we could see more. I will look for your older video on it. I am also really disappointed K Danco took his channel down. I really enjoyed his videos.

It's been so many years now I forget, but one of those buildings was a May's Department store. The store had two levels with escalators. I may very well be dreaming this part up from my childhood in the 1970's, but I think the escalators were a big deal because it was the first or only escalators between like NYC and Albany for that time.

The whole mall was connected between college and abandoned service merch. It’s been sectioned and various demolition over the years. I used to work in second floor above Jamesway it was all IBM offices in the 80s. I always liked that mall because it was kind of small sized and the stores that were in it were not garbage. It was a nice place to take a break at lunch. I would just simply come downstairs and be able to walk around in there and get stuff if I wanted Service was fun as well. Been so long ago I don’t remember, but they had tasteful Christmas displays.

Streetview doesn't give a good idea either... it's earliest shot in 2012 showed ShopRite abandoned then too... Oddly enough while searching for it, I was caught by surprise to see Ocean State Job Lot took a former A&P with the future store look still intact, unlike the ones in Seaside Heights/Ortley Beach (Now ACME), and Valley Rd in Wayne (now Whole Foods)

*You scare too easy. I almost want to unsub. For an Urbexer you should consider a challenge and opportunity. Think of it this way; That drone probably scared off other explorers who also ran with their tail between their legs. But I guess you want to be one of them..and not be a legend!*

I could care less honestly, let them be the brave ones. You think its that easy to just jump inside any building without knowing what type of dangers/risks lurk inside or outside the place? Gotta be smart too
