    Just watched this documentary and I have to say that the time spent watching it could not have been better used! This should be a mandatory watch for any US child before they are permitted to be promoted to the next grade not once but every year of their schooling, so that by the time they finish high school it is not something they saw, but instead something that they know and completely understand. Thank you to Jeffrey Robinson for making what I consider possibly the best film ever recorded.

    I am so glad that I watched this documentary! It most definitely needs to be seen by a broader audience (movie theaters, DVD, schools and universities) since many may not have access to Netflix.

    This movie is a Game Changer! He has provided empirical data and historical context to compel us to critical conversations on Race and reconciliation.

    Finally , someone gets it . I wished that a white American , or Jewish American had taken the initiative to create a public work that speaks genuinely and honestly about American history, but be it as it is , I am grateful to God that Jeffrey Robinson answered , " I will " to God's summon ," who shall carry this burden ".
    Thank you , Mr. Robinson ! And may God Bless you .

    The idea that the murder of Martin Luther King, was a moment where we declined is an interesting hypothesis, and at the moment I am not sure I agree, but I saw a poster for the film here in NYC, so I will be very interested to see the film.

    WTF. "Black News Tonight". So y'all would be okay with "White News Tonight'??

    • @ferreiraeBaseballAcademy
      @ferreiraeBaseballAcademy 2 года назад

      Those are not mutually exclusive. You are free to watch what you want. But, facts are undeniable. The film maker was brilliant in how he highlighted facts and their sources. Sure, we are not confused about the good old tactic of when the facts are undeniable then let's deflect, blame and try to discredit the messenger. Good luck with that tactic in 2022 buddy. Go on and watch while we make sure that the ball does not roll backwards this time around.

      Because there are already "White News Tonight" stations AKA the mainstream media... mainstream: the norm, the dominant ideology... so of course, us beautiful brown & black folk left in the margins will have to create our own source of information, from our perspectives. As opposed to having heinous lies forced into the homes of the innocent via television programming... same mainstream news stations that didn't even have a black person employed as an anchor until about the 70s. Sigh, such a silly question... hope this helps ✊🏾

      @@NayyAmo I understand my lady. I just don't like the concept of putting color to it.. I don't watch mainstream news it's all corporate.. I like TYT, Undisputed, Ring of fire. Progressive news outlets. ✌️🤘

      @@davidleer52 Yea, I used to watch The Young Turks regularly until I just didn't watch anything news related... besides "Clear Value Tax w/ Brian Kim". But yea, unfortunately putting racial colors onto things are a part of this society we live in. Jeffrey Robinson prefaced his work with the question if any of us owned slaves. This is just showing us in the present-day, although we may not have created any of this (slavery, racial stereotypes, white supremacy, an inhumane hierarchical system based on skin color...), too bad. We are living in it, it is who we are as a nation. So what are we going to do about it?
