I dont know if rh is aware of youtubers like you but they need to improve because 90% of the questions you mention were asked by them. After the meeting I was starting to think that rh said: damn, here is another one who knows the thing. Man is unbelievable, you just have to do the homework, print it and study a bit and boom, never felt so relaxed in an interview. Thanks a looottt mate and keep on going.

I have to thank you for being such an exceptional resource.
I spent a considerable amount of time considering whether or not I wanted to switch jobs & your channel was a major driver in my decision.
With the help of your videos, I received four generous offers & ultimately landed a fully remote position that was a 50+% base pay raise over my previous employer!
I watched your videos & never thought something like this could happen to me. I'm excited about just how wrong I was!
    Thank you!

Before taking this job, I've applied to many just to get into a position that I enjoy doing (because there are just that many oppertunities, I'm a generalist and adore varied days so I'm not really picky in function). Many interviews were had, and I was successful at 6 of them also partly due to your videos. Many thanks for that!
Though all those companies wanted me, I took this job specifically because it had the most guest-specific interaction, but mostly it was also the best 2-sided interview I had. It took an hour and it was enjoyable all the way through, and it shows as it is the best work-atmosphere I've ever had in my life. Even though its not a function I studied or majored in, I don't think I want to be anywhere else.

I have to say that your videos have helped me a lot. I started watching it when I didn't feel good at my work and after some consulting I started to apply for new jobs. Turns out I was demotivated because I was working below my level and didn't see any way to improve.
I also started a new education to rise even higher, I love challenges (especially if I can beat them). Again, thank you for your advice.

Brilliant I remember watching all the videos back to back. I spoke to a recruiter the other day and she asked me my salary requirements and I was said verbatim Well it depends on the specific duties of the position and What is the approved range for this job lol I was even stunned. Before I would just give a range and then be stuck. She had to go look for the salary range and when she told me I was like well that is within my range.

How did you know I have a job interview in 3 hours, also should you wear a tie to an interview

    • @TheCompaniesExpert
      @TheCompaniesExpert  2 года назад +2

First of all, I know these things. Second, you should look how THEY look. If there's a margin of error because you don't know precisely, err on the side of dressing up. If it's a job where you sit at a desk, the answer is almost always YES to a tie.

Once I interviewed a temporary job which was a maternity cover and the very young HR asked what I could contribute to the company... 😑
Gosh, are you really expecting a temp staff contribute to your company? If the world is running in that easy way, who need permanent staff??????

Thank you for these tips, I have a question, so I resigned from toxic environment and I applied to different places. So one of the places I applied to they called my previous manager and he said bad things about me. What I should say if they asked about this in the interview like they would say “ your previous employer said this and that about you” what response I should give

    • @amyv.

You can turn it around into a “positive”. Tell them that even though you had challenges, which comes with every job, you always managed to stay optimistic and make the best out of each situation. However, you can state that your decision to leave might not have been accepted by a few people. Don’t mention who they are.

I had an interview the other day and it was the HR person who told me the salary, which was incredibly low for the job that I would be doing, and the list of requirements they had. I don't know if they were testing to see if I would react or if they were just looking for someone stupid or desperate enough to start working for them.

    • @Stewie457

Red flag. Don't get low-balled. Negotiate a higher salary AFTER receiving a job offer. If they can't, walk away. They obviously can't afford to hire you.
