The crowds cheer, birds sing, children laugh, and the women swoon. Dave is back! Yeah! Marching bands begin celebratory tune. But seriously, glad you're back. Thanks
A friend just bought a new Les Paul from the Guitar Center, but he couldn't get it tuned right. He took it back, had them adjust it, and when he got it back, it was worse. He asked me to check it out. I found nearly 1/8 inch of relief on the neck...the truss rod was doing NOTHING! Thanks to everything I've learned from your videos, his Paul plays perfectly now. Dave, you rock!
New Sub here and big fan of your movies. I've watched hundreds overs the last month and have be entertained. Goof fence neighbors and the cooking videos all entertaining!
Dave, I recently put up for sale one of my acoustic guitars that I used all your excellent tutorials to set it up with, so far the two people whom have seen it were very impressed with its setup. Huge thanks to you for teaching me how, and BTW my wife loves the Cavanders Greek seasoning, Kudos.
Hi Dave, I just got a JP made aerodyne 5 string jazz bass, but since I live in the middle of nowhere with no techs around I had to set it up myself and your vids helped me a lot, thanks bud, from northern Manitoba.
Eastwood is such a cool company. They make all these signature models, but once in a while, dig up old retro designs too - solid stuff at reasonable prices. I understand what they're doing, but wish sometimes they'd try configs other than the standard Gibson dual humbuckers. What really set those old models apart were their cheezy microphonic pickups.
do u have a paypal or would you rather mail? You rule, brother! Thanks for all the help! I have a dean Ml with a floyd rose and without you i would of messed my baby up so baddd!!!!
that wood piece in tailpiece reminds me of that Dot on Shaft archtop you did a while back. At the time the owner asked you to flip that over...I wonder if you flipped this one, if it would have said Dot on Shaft?
Awesome your back thanx for the new video - 860 views in an hour - amazing as always In your opinion, I really can't get around spending 30 bucks for a Stew / Mac String Action Gauge Ruler can I - the ones from China look pretty crappy. Thanks for your help in advance. PS I realize your probably getting alot of new questions, Peace
+Bryan Batton @ If you're doing repairs for a living, then I guess it's nice to invest in that kind of thing (Crimson Guitars in the UK sells much better luthier tools than what you can get at Stew-Mac though), but most of us just setting up our own guitars now and then settle the feeler gauges you can buy at any auto parts store for five bucks. Then you've got 25 bucks left for pizza and beer. (I was gonna say a 12-pack of beer and a 10 dollar hooker, but there aren't any woman left in the world worth 10 whole dollars anymore. We used them all up in the 70s.)
Hey Dave good to see you . I can relate to what S. Reeves said. Unfortunately you'd have to put up a new vid everyday to keep us happy. Think you did that for a while. Kick back, relax and thanks. Back to the reruns.
Hi Dave, Glad you are back. I was getting extremely irritated watching repair videos posted by goof's who bought a new camera trying to be like you. Every time I hear the words Gooch or Frolic I think about your vids. Cheers, Duke
I didn't know their was such a debate over that bridge being backwards.. I have a few guitars that were built in Korea. They seem just as well built as any of my other well made guitars..
Hi yah Dave, good to see you checkin in.Thinking about starting a project guitar, telecaster. I am going to do a pine version. Besides ebay, do you have any ideas on where to purchase the rest ? Thanks.
Dave, when you checked the relief, did you have a capo on the first fret? Great channel you got. I watch all your videos. Can you do one for a setup PRS Custom 24? Thanks.
Hey ya Dave, Busy with the election I suppose or been bashing out a heap of new tunes with the band? Hope you're well and I love the ending comment there for all those people who think you're here to provide regular new content for their enjoyment...... Cheers big ears from Oz

Hi Dave from Ohio! Mark Farner played an Eastwood Messenger!
+Ed Dana That was a Musicraft Messenger. Eastwood did not exist back in the late 60's.
Eastwood makes a messenger now though as a tribute or something.
James Krys Eastwood makes a messenger now though as a tribute or something.

C' mon Dave....you have fans out here. Stop eating, sleeping, mating and defending. We miss your videos.
remember, without rules you have chaos!
I'm not to big on semi body's, but that axe is really great looking!! I think the thing could use a good cleaning, especially the pick up covers.
Just one Ting, mon, who da 'ell dat be, mon? Who de 'ell is Joey Leone? I've never heard of him, is he a big rock star?
Dave, when you checked the relief, did you have a capo on the first fret? Great channel you got. I watch all your videos. Can you do one for a setup PRS Custom 24? Thanks.
Dave have you thought about setting up patreon or doing some occasional livestreaming?
Hey ya Dave, Busy with the election I suppose or been bashing out a heap of new tunes with the band? Hope you're well and I love the ending comment there for all those people who think you're here to provide regular new content for their enjoyment...... Cheers big ears from Oz
And all this time I've been wondering if my ABR bridges are backwards or not....
missed you bro!
Was it super and fast or superfast or neither?
Yea !!!! Daves back ! Cool looking guitar , but it would be wasted on me , I'm not slow hand , just SLOW !!!
DAVE IS BACK HOORAY!!!!
Hey Dave! How about cooking up some wings!
The Italians and Americans collaborated to make this model first. The Sergio Leone Superfistfull of Lollars.
video was superfast too
Will you give me a shout out for me on my birthday on Halloween
hey..that looks familiar
Looks similar to an artcore...as well as a myriad of most other hollow bodies. Starcaster is the most "unique" hollow body imo.
heh heh
Nice guitar, though that nut looks like it's gonna bind like a mofo.
welcome back!
welcome back Dave
Glad your back old man......was about ready to start going to AA meetings...lol
