Hey,thanks for your honesty.Seems to be getting more lost in the scuffle of being first with new gear race.I love their Gyre pumps. Stay weell out there in the Reef Dues family. Doc BC
I'm building a softie 20 gallon just now and will be testing PAR38's as a budget lighting option to let people see the results (or repurpose them for a macro algae) but have been looking into the Maxspect Jump as a possible future upgrade, great video and nice to see it working with PAR readings! :D
Seems really good. Idk if I'll go for it but, it is very atop my list. As of now I am running 2 30watt Nicrew the style is like, Kessils. To me they're doing the job pretty well over my 40breeder Otherwise I've been using, Fluval Marine 3.0 lights mostly
The very best review on maxspect! Salute! Which one do you think is best for my tank: - Maxspect RSX 200w or - 2pcs Maxspect Jump LED MJ-L165 Tank dimesions: 40 x 16 x 18 inches (LxWxH) 180 liters tank. I have mostly LPS and Zoanthids. Thanks in advance for your advice!
Cool lights not many lights come with adjustable hanging arm, doing a dyi for ecotech g5 pro like yours with orphek 3 bar any ideal how I should mount the bar on the ecotech?
The arm is a clever yet simple design!. If you can find the old style X bracket you can pop out the C clip and use a wash/tnut to mount it.. With the new bracket you may just have to drill a hole in it
Hey Dev...Quick question....I'm planning on getting a large tank later on this year and until then, I'm setting up a 15 gal nano to grow out frags until I get the large tank. Do you really need to have fish in a frag tank, or can you do fine without any??? Would rather not add additional duties to taking care of a frag tank. If needed, what would be the best fish to take care of potential algae growth in a nano tank? Thx. Perhaps this could be an additional topic to bring up during your next stream.....
You should talk about price. The mounting arm should have more varied heights, reach and clamp width variability. Need to accommodate rimmed tanks as well.
Thanks for not doing the par readings at 100% and instead doing it at a reasonable setting people would use. That's why I like you. Also the par did surprise me for the price of the lights.
I would be really appreciative if you are able to help me connect my lights as I did it by fluke but it stopped working and I have spent hours trying to do it again but no joy at all

Can it be fit on 12 mm thick glass ??
And what is the length of the mounting unit attached from aquarium top ??
Hi, excellent video, but do you know if there is a "book" around where you can find the light profiles without using the default ones?
I cannot get mind to connect to my WiFi I have turned off the 5ghz and it still won't connect to the 2ghz any advice I can only do it via the app mode

Pretty decent par coming out of this model. I remember their older lights were pretty weak.
good to know! this is the first model i have used from them.

Would this light be enough for a Waterbox 25 peninsula tank? Few sps and anemones. Thanks in advance bud.
Can you pair multiples? Master slave or similar. Need to cover 160x64cm. Thinking 3-4 of these.
Great video!

They will do fine with out fish.Just add some small inverts for a clean up crew.
hi, di you think it will suffice on 30” L x 13” W x 18” H? tia
I would likely want 2 on 30”. But again depends on your scape abs what type of corals
I’m getting a 6 foot tank 18 inches wide. Would 3 of these work for a coral tank?
Great video !!!
Could you please tell me how to avoid the disco effect? I have the same light on 40 gallon breeder
Thank you

The bracket would fit over a black rim, its decently wide. Price wise retails for 229 usd.
Hello!! have you any profile for LPS corals?
Is this ok for SPS?
Would depend on the tank size
What size tank is it rated for.?
Plz review maxspect ethereal par reading n app setting
Looks great! Very informative ;)
Thanks! Thats the goal :)
Which do you think is better, this one (2 pcs) or 2pcs ai prime 16hd in a 180 liter tank. (lps and zoanthids dominated tank).
Either would do the job. Personally i would prob do the primes
@@ReefDudes thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
Hi is running uv at 100 percent bad for the tank coral and beneficial bacteria
Nope, most bacteria is on surfaces., it only affect stuff in the water
How much is this?

Thanks Gabe! Mind you my tank is only 14" deep but still pretty solid! I need to find a 18" cube for testing lights! would be handy
@@ReefDudes Maybe the company that built the frag tank can help you put on that 🤞
@@gabesreef Ill prob just find a good deal on a used one.. im on a budget now :P
@@ReefDudes I been wondering when she was going to start cracking the whip
@@gabesreef hhaaha yep need to tone down the reefupgrades for a while :P Good thing im just about out of things to add
Seems like it needs to be raised up for better spread.
The bracket lets you do it so totally do able!
Reminds me of a modem!
It's day two and I'm still not able to connect this to mobile via router. 😎
Did you get it to work?
I dont!😢
I never get how company would chose to name/model a product with a such long name/model number. Just make it simple so that consumers remember them.
I'd never buy maxpect LED unit again. I've had 2 razors and both broke.
Yeh if only they connected that quickly in real life
Lol yes it did take a min or so longer but no one would sit here watching the status bar for that long
I would be really appreciative if you are able to help me connect my lights as I did it by fluke but it stopped working and I have spent hours trying to do it again but no joy at all
fan is very noisy, disco effect
Rehash of the Ethereal huh?......Yawwnnnn......
