Been having an extreme case of this since reading Dr. Greenberg's work and him saying everything I've been doing (that has been working tremendously) is wrong and things such as self talk "maybe, maybe not" "not gonna do it OCD" "Nope", any response to thoughts is a secret mental ritual. That scared me a lot, now I'm hyper confused. But deep inside I think I know it's just OCD. Any ideas for an exposure to this?
It definitely can be for many, and acceptance is very important. You can get to and stay in the recovery stage, but not by just wishing it will go away you’re looking for some magic solution. You have to do the work to get there, and it’s a process.
Do you struggle with these intrusive thoughts? OCD will latch onto anything we care about, but YOU can take control back! 😀

I’ve been going to ocd therapy(erp) and yeah I have ocd about ocd and ocd about erp too.
Is wanting ocd to go away for good an obsession? Is it ocd? Or is it something the sufferer actually wants?
