Aloha Sir, I want to say that your videos are becoming a font of knowledge and a resource that I share with many people asking about Vietnam. I’m new here in Saigon, so my read on everything is a novice at best. The video quality is impressive, and the content is evolving just as your channel is. I share this series with as many people as I can. Frankly, I can’t understand why there are not as many followers as some of the others that seem to be filled with the endless ramble. Great job and I look forward to the next one! Aloha Douglas

These videos ARE THE ONLY VIDEOS ANYONE NEEDS! Your commitment is unmatched. Dec 28 will be my 4th visit to Vietnam. Normally I stay in Le Sands in Danang and WINK in Saigon, (They all know me there) I have just decided after careful consideration (because I do like Bangkok too) that Vietnam is going to be the place for me to do business. I will reach out early 2023 for a consultation with your company to see if my line of business is OK there

Ken....always nice to see your enthusiatic boosterism for VN, a country I woudl love to retire to (as I am ready do that) and have made two exploratory trips to the country in 2019 and 2022. However, as @dancooper5741 says quite correctly, VN is nowhere to be seen in the expat/retirement space, globally or regionally. And it may be that a country of almost 100m people isn't too worried about attracting foreign expats, which is fine. But you need to be more honest about the lack of possibilities for retirees to VN, especially when it's well-known that even the request for a "longer than 30 day visa" is failing to get any traction in the country.

Ha Long City is also a really nice place to live if the bigger cities are too much to take for you. There are also great beaches and a relaxed lifestyle is possible there. The 4 seasons are clearly distinct, where especially in winter cold winds from the north can become a bit chilly. But it never gets really cold - I would say the temperature is like in southern Spain - so not bad at all.

Have to say you have some great videos, I went to Ho Chi Minh back in August this year and loved Vietnam and the people, can't wait to go back hopefully next year and maybe go to Da Nang or Nha Trang, I am thinking of maybe trying to buy a condo in a overseas country for later in life and an early retirement, would be after a 1 or 2 bedroom condo preferably in a coastal city but would consider other places, what would the approximate entry level price for an Australian citizen to buy a condo in Vietnam, doesn't need to be new just needs to be liveable and has Air conditioning, it's own bathroom and toilet, basically to a western standard, also the best place to look at listing's for property suitable for foreigners to be able to buy! Thanks for your help and keep up the great videos

    Hi Mr. Ken,
I am currently on a path to becoming an attorney. Once I have my law degree would it be useful in VN? If useful what are the possibilities of living in both VN and US?

It depends on the area of practice. But you can act as a foreign lawyer in Vietnam.

Dang Nang, Vung Tau & Nha Trang are great options 👍
Da Lat is ok. It’s getting hotter over the years due to deforestation & buildings & traffic jams 👌
Sai Gon & Ha Noi are too crowned. Hard to commune if it’s rain -> street is flooded. 👎
