After watching this trial, you not only like Johnny as an actor, but for the person he actually is.
I've loved him from the beginning, but i agree it makes you love him more.
Thats why I believe proving his case of being 'defamed' by Amber is so important, he knows exactly who he is and it's defiantly not the person Amber is accusing him of!

Whoever is in charge of hiring people on behalf of JD needs a raise… everyone that has testified is so warm, soft spoken and loyal to JD. Loyalty is rare to find these days
They also appear sincere and truthful while not fawning over Depp's fame. Depp seems like a genuinely decent person.

I used to like Johnny Depp as an actor, I has no idea about his life, I wasn't a fan, but, after hearing the stories, seeing what type of human he is, how he was going to children hospitals, donating money without publicity etc. I can say that this man has gathered more fans for life now than ever.

Johnny asked his security guard to walk with his nurse cause it was late at night and he didn't want her to walk by herself. Johnny is a gem. Amber heard was literal poison to Johnny's life.

If she had any sense, she'd stop this trial, settle with Depp for the damage to his reputation, apologize to everyone for lying about Depp in the op-ed, beg the public's forgiveness then promise to go into psychological therapy. This trial has been utterly devastating to her reputation.

If you spit on ANYONE it is the most humiliating degrading act to do to anyone and is so shocking they won’t react. They will be so shocked to know someone thy knew liked or loved did such a thing they will walk away completely mortified. It is why in some cultures it is an act used and known to show total disgust and an ending of any form of interaction in the future between two persons.

The fact that she has all those recordings of him shows her intentions to set him up from the start. I don't even need to see or hear anything else. Nobody records those types of things without bad motives. Period.
JD actually testified that he started recording their conversations because Amber wouldn’t remember the thing she said to him while she was in a rage, but he would tell her that he was recording. He said that she started recording him without his knowledge which of course like you said wasn’t without bad ulterior motives!
Is anyone else blown away that on the cross exam, he keeps making statements that are false, then asks if they are correct, which the witness answers “that’s not correct” and then just moves on? Is that a normal strategy?

I think that they do that because amber or one of her witnesses will testify that what the lawyers were saying is true, like with the bodyguard ambers sister might testify that she was standing between them if she’s a witness in this case. Idk tho I’m not a lawyer

Probably the idea is to present his client's case and either get the witness to agree to it or try to frame him as a liar. Camille Vasquez actually did something similar in her cross of Amber.

@ M…I think she’s finding any reason to object just to throw off the witness and JD’s attorney because his testimony pokes serious holes in their defense. Plus, this particular attorney for JD is a powerhouse…she’s trying to trip him up and knock him off his flow of questioning.

During Amber's first testimony on stand, when she said she learned to "break" horses as a youth, that to me was key because she is not definitely some dainty innocent person who would not take any physical punishment but would try to control anyone through some type of force or violence to "break" them.
My partner went through the false allegations merry go round with his ex. Thank you Johnny for bringing this to light internationally, it’s hugely important as a global societal issue, this isn’t just celebrity fanfare. Thank you, Johnny Depp for having the courage to do this! 🙏
My bf wen through false DV allegations with his ex. Completely ruined his reputation & made him lose friends. 100% reminds me of AH with what she did and how she acted. His brother is dealing with false SA allegations right now. It’s a lot more common then people think, which is scary. There needs to be some kind of repercussions when someone is proven to be lying. It doesn’t stop victims from coming forward, it stops people pretending to be victims. I’ve personally known several women who have lied about DA/SA and ruined lives in the process.
The defense asks such idiotic padding questions, testifying rather than questioning. I genuinely hope the jury is getting as ticked off with defenses' approach. They are so rude.

I find it *shocking* that Johnny Depp had to have his security guards with him, on so many occasions to protect him from Ms Heard!!?
Then to hear that even the bodyguard failed on a couple occasions to prevent injury from Heard. He finally had to remove Depp from the premises to keep him safe.

If the trail is anything to go by her acting skills are poor at best. Pausing to long to answer, not remembering her lines, crying hysterically but not one tear shed, making sniffing noises, but never wipes or blows her nose. She actually is an affront to womankind.
This is the 7th or 8th witness close to them who testified that Amber not only three bottles at Johnny, spit Depp, and actually punched him right in front of him. So everyone has seen her on separate occasions throw objects at him! Brilliant! This bodyguard alone saw her throw a Red Bull, a purse, spit on him, calling him a dead beat dad/ washed up (low blow as it gets), and then saw her punch him in the face. This is as Johnny was trying to get away from her. If she was a victim she would not be assaulting him physically and verbally. She is the aggressor and she is the assaulter! She is gonna fry on the stand. Stay tuned it’s gonna get worse for her. Her lawyers have played all their Aces and don’t have any evidence at all anymore.

IMO, This undermines her claim of being the (only) victim of domestic violence in this situation (She's coming across as the perpetrator, on many occasions ?)

Abusers throw things at people, spit, punch, and then try to block you from leaving. Victims almost always try to get away. I'm thinking Amber is the real abuser, and Johnny is the real victim. I've been in a domestic violence situation. An abuser rarely tries to leave, a victim never tries to make the violent one stay. It's too dangerous.
They're also jealous controlling and smash stuff and say horrible things about you, this isn't classic d.v. its a toxic bidirectional mess they both should be thrown out of court

I watched “Rango” this evening. It was so funny. I was very surprised that the voice of Rango was Johnny Depp. He is a very talented actor who deserves to be employed by those who have dumped him. Kathleen Weinberg, I must admit I was not and still not a fan of Johnny Depp ( I never liked his caracter in Pirat of the Caribbean ) BUT I came to find out he was a simple, humble and caring man..He 's very sensitive, he is an artist ( yes, he's painting) and most of it, he does not deserve what he's going through right now. I don't say he's a saint but I believe him. He's obviously saying the truth. Amber, absolutely not. She's a liar.

If i remember correctly, the punch incident on the middle level was the one where Heard lied (again) and stated that she had to do that to stop JD from pushing her sister down the stairs. How she thought that lie would stand when there was a body guard right by them witnessing this is beyond me. She really is delusional.

Because it's not a case against her, I believe per Virgina law, all actions and communications are part of spousal privilege. (Divorce doesn't negate the law about anything that happened while they were married) But I'm not an expert on Virginia Law.

Johnny seems like a really neat guy- the way he makes sure to remember someone’s full name, or in the beginning when he points to the camera person and says “you again!” For someone of his status he is very observant and purposeful in his interactions.

The questions the attorney is asking the agent are the most important ones of this entire trial. This gets down to where the defamation affected his career and his financial and reputation issues. And the attorneys for Amber keep objecting because they know that is what the jury is going to have to really ponder over to prove that this is a defamation lawsuit the foundation was laid that she is a liar based on the recordings and the domestic assault and so on. But now is when they're getting into the nitty-gritty where they should be talking and proving how her op-ed affected his reputation. It's so frustrating how the judge is allowing Amber's attorneys to object to everything not allowing him to outright say yeah he lost jobs and work and reputation because of what she said. That's what this whole entire case is about!!

He likely won’t win the case but he has certainly cleared his name that he never hit her, ever. He admits he’s an addict and alcoholic and a bit of a rowdy but he’s not an abuser.
I agree. And it is his agent that helps find the jobs HE is best to ask this. It’s not hearsay, it is his job to get his client work. I was so frustrated he couldn’t answer!
