Flat sheets are very handy! I made my maternity clothes out of them for summer wear, 32 years ago, lol Since then, I've used them for many things. Great Job!!
I also have a Runaway Camper. You have such informative videos, and problem solve very well. Just wanted to share, I am making new curtains, and am creating two 4 inch wide by 5 inch tall puckered pockets at bottom of mine. This is to hold my phone & head lamp so they are within reach. Sounds like you and your wife are creating a dream camper. Plan to trial your idea for the bed/couch. Thanks
a small stool/chair with coaster wheels seems like it would be great in really small rigs ...kind of takes the place of not being able to stand up … "easier" getting around
WOW, that really does look comfy!!! I'm probably never going to sell my mobile home in my trailer park because I own it and the lot rent is only $355 a month but I do plan on getting a van and converting it somewhat for traveling. I like the idea of having both types of lifestyles.
I enjoyed your video. The other benefit of how you set up your mattress is that one person tossing around won't bother the other, because you have each one sleeping on a separate half. Great idea
that's amazing. do you think that's some thing I could duplicate in Tallahassee over the summer? could you tell me how to search for those foam pads. does it ever hurt your lower back sleeping in it?
If a VW can carry 2-4 people, it should be able to pull the runaway (given that it has a manual transmission) on flat land but i don't know about going through mountains.
like your vids Kevin ,I'm in process of building my own 5x8x5foot tall mini camper ,11/2" thick insulated walls, filon outer walls, Just put in a full sized sealey matress, and has a/c, 3 windows with screens ,and window in door,i have about 3 grand just in camper materials ,a bit shocked at material cost, keep your vidio's coming
Kevin, that's pretty Effing neat man. All together, so far, what is a ball park figure for what you've got wrapped up into your camper? And when are you going to put in the air conditioner?
So far $940.00 in extra's. i don't know about an a/c yet i'm still thinking if i want to put one in or not, i want to see how well the fan works first.
Find out what a new one that size runs for. If the owner did no updates and the new one is equal to or less, get new. Otherwise, if he is like Kevin and totally redesigned it, do what Kevin said after you double check for leaks and mold.
Nice design
Cool ideas.. Thanks for sharing! SAFE TRAVELS.....
Thanks for watching Ron.

Could we put a mini bunk bed in there? A camping one?
I am not sure the floor is 46" x 94" and about 46" high I hope this helps Magan.
I have 66 VW WILL IT PULL IT?
It should pull it 680 lb.but I'm not sure.

I looking for a runaway camper and found one, it's a 2015 navigator and he's asking 3,400 for it. What should I offer?
Go for $3,000 and see I think they will take it will not hurt to ask Donnie.
Kevin Robinson it's 2 years old, do they hold there value?
I'm not sure on that one how much are they new and how muck work did they put in to it.
