Oh that's what this is? I've seen the dogs around here and there but didn't know the name of the show until this weekend (and didn't even attach the name to the dogs until now). :P Oh yeah, parallel universe is a pretty good answer for most things. XD Well played.

There was actually a recently confirmed theory that Chilli, Bluey and Bingo's mom, had a miscarriage at some point (we don't know if it was before or after Bluey and Bingo were born, but it's now been confirmed by the creator). There was quite a lot of evidence before it was confirmed, such as in the episode Sleepytime (Bingo has a dream that she and Bluey hatch out of Earth and Venus, but Mercury remains intact), as well as the mother's day episode (Bluey and Bingo put on a play of Chilli's life, but when reenacting her pregnancy, the balloon they're using to represent the baby pops, and Bandit covertly puts his hand on Chilli's to comfort her), and more.

And using animal noises for jokes and such is a staple of cartoon humor - heck, SPONGEBOB has made cow noises before (the episode 'Boating School', when Patrick tells him to act natural), but is he a cow?
