  • How to build a small set for still life photography.
    Lighting techniques to add a highlight down the side of a glass vase.
    Everything is covered from studio lighting, through the tethered capture in Capture one software, to the final image in Adobe Photoshop.
    Whether it’s studio flash, speedlight, strobe, or daylight, easy techniques simply demonstrated.
    Plus, some tips and tricks in Photoshop to help things along a little.
    500Joule (J) Watt-Second (W s) studio flash/strobe.
    1’x4’ soft box
    Acrylic mirror.
    Retort stand.
    Canon 24-70mm f2.8 Lens.
    Manfrotto 475B Tripod with a 410 geared head.
    Phase One capture one software.

    Thank you for your excelent videos - I am new to studio photography as such this may be a silly question which is - can a constant light be used as opposed to a flash or strobe?

      Yes, you can however, constant lights such as LEDs are nowhere near as efficient as a strobe so you either need a great deal of power or a Long Exposure in a dark room. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
