Correction: Navy's maximum exposure for up to 3 credit cards is $80,000. For example if you have the Flagship card maximum of $80,000 you can't receive anymore credit cards with Navy. At least that's what a Navy customer service rep told me over the phone.
Not true
Hmm interesting, need to dig more into this. I suggest many of us call and ask same question talking to different people and see what answers we get
I apologize. You are correct. I called and asked yesterday
@@arnopetersoneshotbbq No need to apologize. Just want all of us to be informed. I personally have $69,000 with Navy on 3 cards so only have another $11,000 before I hit maximum exposure.
@@RLFLOWS Had to apologize. It was necessary. I currently only have the flagship more rewards and go rewards with 25 thousand on all three
Great info. Been with NFCU for a minute. Lost faith in them but now I’m back and building on our relationship
This was a lot of very useful info without a long ass intro or any fluff I appreciate this 💪🏾🔥
Thanks for watching!
Yeah, I have trying to work these guy’s over. Just got a second card with in the last four mnths. And opened a crap load of products. They don’t care about a 800 Fico. It’s all about that internal score. But more on the relationships, relationships. Two 💳 cards 40G total. Got both cards at or around a internal of 304/450.Two pledged, one CD, cking and saving’s.Just started direct after the fact, lol…
Nice! Solid datpoints on the internal score piece
Oh and the internal score is not just based on your relationship with them it's based on everything on your credit profile. They look at what you do with other lenders just as much as what you do with them
Great video. Love NFCU and Amex. Flagship, more rewards and go rewards. Gold card and Delta gold card. Love the channel.
Thanks for watching! I love the NFCU and Amex combo too!
And there is no late-night hack the same computer system approves or denies you 24 hours a day. All credit card applications are run to the computer program the only time a human looks at your application is if there's an issue with it. You're just as likely to get approved at 1 a.m. as you are at 1 p.m. this is been verified by navy federal employees
Keep dropping that 🔥🔥🔥
Yes sir! Thanks for watching!
All makes sense thanks
Hey, thanks for watching!
Aspiration MC, now opened the door for solid pre qualified amounts…
I got a business card from Navy Federal 15,000 new business in less than a month
BOOM! Congrats
I'm glad I already have 3 cards with Nfcu, moving my checking account from Evansville Teachers fcu soon to be Liberty fcc to NFCU would be a tough sell, since I get 3.3 percent interest with 20k,I like putting that 55 dollars interest every month into my Roth account.
Ya agreed! Building up the nest egg- I love it!
Great content and strategy data points.
Thanks for watching!
WM. I just paid off a NFCU (18 month) pledge loan this month. Now my credit score is gonna take a hit due to 'closed' account & with 'credit mix' (everything else is revolving). Does it make sense to do another pledge loan with NFCU (bigger amount with longer term) for 'credit mix' & new tradeline - even tho i will take another 'hit' for reduced average age (with credit history). Seems like, either way, I can't win ,cuz my credit score is still gonna get 'smacked'. LOL. Thanks bro! :)
Ya you could do that or look to other installment options at say DCU if you wanted to establish relationship there or similar. Ya those little point drops are unavoidable, they will bounce back
The Pledge loan is definitely on the website you just cannot apply for it online
You can now add Truist, on your pre qual list.
Thank you! Will look at that now
@@WalletMonkeys No data on the Forums yet, hmm🤔🤔
ya there is like no data anywhere on this from what I have found
I did the hack and it worked 12/2021 $2,900.00 CL.
BOOM! Huge congrats!
Thanks.
When should I apply for the Checking Line of Credit in your order of operations?
I did it a week ago at 11:00 pm got Aproved for the flag ship for $25,000.
BANG! Congrats
tried the late night hack. worked $25000 CL approved
BOOM! Huge congrats!
thanks. do you know why i didn’t get an internal score from them?
thank you.
I recently joined. My direct deposit goes to my savings & move funds to my checking. Will that work?
yep! Let that season up for 90 days
@@WalletMonkeys Will do. 🙏🏾
Hi! So I am currently torn on what card to get: I did the prequalification and I prequalled for I think every card: the cashRewards, Platinum, Go Rewards, Flagship Rewards, AMEX, and secured. I am trying to do some MS so I want to maximize the amount of cashback I can get. I am torn between the cashRewards and the Flagship: CashRewards because I can redeem as soon as I earn and Flagship because you said it gives the highest limits (can you confirm that is what you said), and it gives 2x on everything else? Any ideas on which card to get for the best cashback yields / high limits?
Yes, Flagship starts off at $5k limits up to $80k limits and is considered the "best" card in NFCU lineup. Check out our guide on the Walletmonkey.io site as well for more data. Are you brand new to NFCU?
@@WalletMonkeys kind of, I opened a checkings and savings account with them back in September and put like 100$ in each and just left them there. I was bored so I was looking at CC videos and was reminded of NAVY Fed so I prequalified and saw I can get every card, so I’m going to try the late night approval tonight with the flagship to see if it works
Ok good, so you got some history with them! NICE! Good luck and let us know how it goes!
@@WalletMonkeys not sure if I should wait till midnight since I already prequalified and just apply now
Keep in mind that its less to do with you pulling some sort of magic on the trillion dollar banking industry by waiting till they are all sleeping to pull this off, if they are going to approve you then it would happen during the day or at night, think of it more like a streamlined process to an answer you were already going to get.
when i got approved for nfcu. when card arrived there was no letter with my internal
score. anyone know why?
I don't think its given out every time, I noticed they have a few different layouts or templates they use for both approvals, CLI approvals/denials and new card denials
Any info on the Wealth Management Services they offer…
Great question, I don't! We will break into more of that this year though I feel as many from the community getting more and more involved on that end
I received my internal score on a recent credit approval letter, which was 300
Thats good to know, 300 is good internal score! Congrats
@@WalletMonkeys Thanks where is the link to the community group??
