    This is way more than I had to do. I open my checking and savings account in October 2021 and immediately proceeded to open up three CDs for $50 each. My direct deposit was going in there biweekly for 90 days and was approved for the 25,000 go rewards card December 31, 2021. I open up at $8000 pledge loan in January 2022 and I’m planning on getting the flagship rewards card in June 2022. I have at least 6k being deposited in my account monthly. Deposits matter.

    I currently have a 11.4 cashRewards and plan to do a product change to moreRewards when I get to 20k. I’ve had my account for 7 years and didn’t really know about all of these products, back doors, and CLI until last August. So I recently switched my Everyday Checking to Flagship Checking, I’m opening a Savefirst and EasyStart certificate, and will be doing a pledge loan soon.
    I’m due to request a CLI in May, last time they only gave me a 6k increase so hopefully this time I get the full 8k.

    Week one: Opened my nfcu account..savings and checking. Opened $50 safe first and $50 east start and direct deposit
    Week two: opened $250 pledge loan applied for more rewards Amex. Approved for 25k. Did not receive internal score. When I reached out for an explanation this is what was given:
    Please be advised that internal scores are only provided in the event that those scores are generated and used to determine the outcome of a credit application. If an internal score was not provided as part of your credit approval or denial letter, no score was generated and was not a factor in determining approval or denial of credit. We hope this addresses any concerns. If you have further questions, please let us know.

    Then there's someone like me. I got my first card with Navy Federal $1,000 more Rewards with the $5 in the account when I signed up. 18 months later I have three credit cards with them $80,000 total credit limit all three of them at the lowest interest rate offered. And I don't use the banking part of Navy Federal at all. I have a checking and savings $0 in the checking account. $10 in the savings account set up to autopay my pledge loan. I did two pledge loans one for $250 to see how it worked and the second one I did for 2001 for 3 years. I paid $1,641 off on the second leaving me 36 payments of $10 a month for the next 3 years. I also took out a personal loan with collateral on a side-by-side UTV for $21,000 with a 9% interest rate the lowest they offered on that loan at the time was 7.99. Again I don't use Navy Federal checking or savings account for anything other than to pay off my pledge loan. My score was around 680 at the time I signed up it's about 750 right now. I've only been on my credit Journey a little over 3 years.

    I work for this company, and we need to address some inaccuracies with your video. The internal score matters if your credit worthiness is in question. The Flagship checking is free if you meet a $1500 daily balance otherwise there's a monthly service. The Visa Flagship credit card has a max limit of $80k with a $49 annual fee. The money market savings is a free account that requires a balance of $2500 or more to start gaining higher interest. The idea of the internal score is to justify lending based on how invested a member is within the financial institution using products and services. There is no hack because all of this takes time. You can do all of these things but get denied for lending if the credit report shows enough red flags. Stop looking for the easy way out and just do the proper work to establish good credit history and credit snapshot. Trust me when I sag that we see through all of that and will make the responsible decision of not lending. Do the right things and we will DEFINITELY lend.

    • @JLamont_3PM
      @JLamont_3PM Год назад +1

      @Wallet Monkey The internal and relationship building does matter to a certain degree. Where it really gets pushed to the forefront is when the credit report has red flags and needs further convincing for lending. Not everything about your content in misinformation. • @WalletMonkeys
      @WalletMonkeys  2 года назад

      It appears like you waited too long and the only reason you didnt' get more credit on the new cards is probably not enough transactional history with them. Take notes of your dates for CLIs etc and stay on top of this now- you will start to get some nice limits! Remember the max is $80k across 3 cards so you got lots of room to grow with them! Also keep bugging them on the secured card to get that converted to cash rewards
