Yes, you’re right. It does look good. That is the reason why you keep doing this. You’re very good at it. Well, do I remember the four times when I had a baby and it was a joy to get outside and get fresh air even if it meant shoveling snow for hoursoutside a place really refreshing but it does involve a lot of muscles and can be quite painful the next day. Keep sharing keep creating. We appreciate it.
Yes, thank you :)
Hi Julia!!My daughter had eczema since she was about five weeks old. I was able to obtain some soft cotton mitts that went on their hands to prevent scratching from their fingernails. My some had eczema, but he never scratched. I kept those mitts on her as she began to crawl. The only thing that helped at the time was aquaphor. She is 24 and still has eczema and sees a dermatologist bcz it developed on her eyelids and face. She uses honey there. The dermatologist says she is allergic to something airborne. I wish you luck and I hope your darling baby some relief soon. Hang in there, it gets better.
I found an excellent product (roll safe straight jacket for babies) that has been a godsend for keeping her from touching her face. We've also made some developments since this vid was filmed.. lot's of big life changes approaching.. might update in a future video.
I love it! Very moody, atmospheric.
:)
This is beautiful and I can't wait to try it! I used to use tiny baby mittens on my daughter and that worked.
Best of luck!
Looks good! I like how you did the ground, the colors really work. Thanks
:)
Could you put lightweight mittens on her and have them tucked,or even lightly taped, to help hold them on? I know they sell long sleeved onesies that have fold down hand covers. I’m sure you have tried lots of things, but hopefully you both find relief soon. ❤
If I got a dollar for every time someone suggested this...I'd have 100$. She still rubs with gloves on. I appreciate it though!
I love your realism.
I like the painting, too:) I actually like that 3rd person there... it makes your eyes zig zag:)
Glad you like it!
❤ I love watching you paint! I'm fairly new to your page and will be watçhing more of your videos. I've got paint now and will be trying a few of your tutorials. Thank you for going at a good pace and keepin' it real. Hope by now you've got some things figured out with your daughter. That's a tough one.
Over 3 months we've been trying things but still dealing with it. Thanks for watching!
Loved this painting! So sorry to hear of your struggles with your daughter and her scratching. I saw in the comments below that you are still dealing with this. It certainly is NOT easy being a parent, especially when things like this occur. Try to keep calm and paint on! You will definitely need some quiet "me" time to remain centered. Will be sending a prayer skyward for relief soon. Hang in there!
Thank you Debbie!

Love this landscape, Julia. I can't imagine filming myself while painting.
I hope that you've gotten some helpful answers regarding your daughter's skin condition. ( I'm wondering how old she is... I remember watching your videos last spring as your pregnancy was progressing. ) I don't know much about excema (sp?), but new information and treatments are available for many disorders all the time, so I'm hoping real relief is available very soon!!!
Best wishes to you all!!

Thanks Susan! She's currently around 8 months old.
I love it, you always make it look so easy and absolutely beautiful
Thank you!
Hello, thank you for your wonderful master class. Only one wish, if we can see your pallet and how you are mixing colors. Thank you!
My camera is not wide angle so this would be challenging
Beautiful! Love a moody landscape thanks Julia. I hope you get things figured out with your daughter 🫶
Thanks Linda!
❤

Hi love your painting but do you always paint small?
Lately yes, it's quicker and saves paper.
It could be something as simple as your laundry soap, I know ivory snow for babies made my son scratch like crazy. For a body wash I used aveeno for babies it's oatmeal based and helped. Maybe the pharmacist can suggest something until you have your appointment with the dermatologist and allergist.
I removed all scented products, my son just had very sensitive skin.
We are already a very natural household - everything has always been unscented and as natural as possible. I've only ever washed my daughter with water. Oatmeal based products didn't work for her (I tried two) and food based products in general shouldn't be used on eczema because the food proteins enter through the blood instead of the gut and create allergies this way. I have literally tried over 25 products and combinations at this point. I will not use pharmaceuticals on my baby.

Hello 😊😊
Are you in Canada?
Yes
Cotton mittens on your daughter’s hands would protect her skin from scratches. I hope you find out soon what will help her!
She still rubs with gloves but thanks for the suggestion!
Use socks on her hands, for the scratching. It helps.
She still rubs, thanks though.
