JIN is super slept on he needs more love.
I mean these days, Jin is now well known for his improved vocal ability and stability so now of days, people question if its either JK, JM or Jin. But you can't blame them if they ask if its Jimin, considering he was the one doing majority of the high notes back then. Just inform people that its Jin, it's not hard. Be patient, some people are still new to Jin's amazing vocals.
My bias is RM, but Jin sits on a cloud all to himself. He is actually a really good dancer despite what I hear people say. His vocals are just untouchable. He is the best big brother for BTS. Namjoon talked about how scared & nervous they guys were going onto this variety show (Knowing Brothers) but Jin started cracking jokes right off the bat and Namjoon said it was bc if that they grateful for him. He LOVES his family. One time he was doing a VLive and Jimin came in talking about how many people were watching HIM and he was telling Jimin NO they were watching bc of BTS. He loves ARMY sooo much. He is so sweet and humble. These are the reason why he sits high in a cloud untouchable. I would have loved to grow up with a big brother like him. 💜💜💜💜 There is so much that he does that not everyone knows about. Thank goodness for Jin Stans! Who provides us with such wonderful content.
I agree but people should stop talking about what used to be said about jin he is clearly a good dancer if he can do the same choreo that bts has had for years and do it the same as the other guys he is clearly a good dancer i wish people would leave that in the past.
Well said! The more I learn about Jin the more I see what an exceptional person he is. I love that he doesn’t hold on to things and is able to shake off negativity fairly quickly. I too love how he takes care of his younger brothers. We recently watched an episode of American Hustle Life where Jin was walking around sharing his snacks with everyone while they were all talking.
Thank you for your beautiful message about Jin. You are absolutely right Jin is a lot more and has a lot more influence in BTS then people give him credit for. He raised Jungkook, he made Jimin realize he shouldn’t be too hard on himself and made him realize life needs to be enjoyed and not be busy all the time, He has inspired RM in more ways then I think we know and V sees sides of Jin that others don’t, J-hope said we wouldn’t have made it without Jin and Suga and Jin are actually best friends and he feels calm when he is with Jin. Magaly Souge I read that the iconic concert speech that Namjoon did at a concert telling Army to use BTS to love themselves was actually from Jin. Him and Jin were eating at a restaurant in Hawaii and Jin was talking about how making others laugh was a way of him using people to make himself feel better. I loved that Namjoon gave props to Jin for the idea. 💜💜 There was also an article where the florist from the Run episode was gushing over how humble and polite Jin was to him. My favorite is PSY in an interview talked about how touched he was when they were at that award show and Jin pulled him from the back to be up front and was dancing with him. PSY was so moved by the jester. My heart sometimes with this guy.

Pied Piper was the song you were interested in ! The best live performance of it is in my opinion the joint one with Dimple. Oh, and the second one was Rain ( one of my favourite BTS songs of all time ).
EDIT : I also get more impressed by Jin every time he performs ! I realise you're overwhelmed with requests, and no pressure if you can't, but Jin truly gets to show off his talent with his cover of I Love You. I'm not a huge fan of emotional ballads, but his vocal performance is absolutely golden and the song has now become one of my favourites.

Jin's cover of "I Love You" left my jaw on the floor the first time I heard it, which was actually surprisingly recently (surprising bc I've been a fan for a while). I was... overwhelmed. I simply cannot believe that we don't get to hear his voice more often. It's incomprehensible to me.

This made me mad about this video. Why wasnt the clip with Jin doing the triple highnote include? A lot of Jins other highnotes were left out too and they only focussed on JK, V and Jimin. Why do they always try to shade my bias, i dont know but Jin cannot be hidden with a voice like he has worked hard to perfect.

Thanks for you guys great fun & interesting reactions! At earlier BTS songs til 2018 albums, Jimin has sung most of the high noted back vocal to harmonize in BTS’s songs as well. I am sure when you guys listen, you will recognize Jimin’s crystal clear high notes with such unique beautiful color of his tones at some of their song’s background sound! Like what BTS leader RM said “Jimin vocal made BTS songs more special & made their songs uniquely BTS (like cherry on top).” Suga also said “Jimin’s vocal sounds are his favorite because there are not many voices like Jimin.” as well. Also a lot of Army call Jimin’s voice as “the fairy dust voice” because adding his voice will up lifted any songs to something extraordinarily! That is why a lot of singers want to collaborate with Jimin including ‘Lizzo’ & ‘Troye Sivan’. Even though as his lack of any vocal training prior to BTS debut because Jimin was joined BTS member as last, just few weeks before BTS debut (other BTS members had vocal training for 2-3 years before debuted by their BH company), with his natural talent he is always working extremely & endlessly hard to develop continuously for his beautiful unique tone of voices, crystal clear high notes & expressive sexy vocal techniques & skills.

Taehung is a natural baritone and the only baritone in the group so that fact that he was hitting those high notes is really remarkable and that's why he has the widest range in BTS. He can go as deep as the ocean but also as high as the sky

Highly recommend reacting to Jin’s “Awake” with the lyrics. They really show who he is as a person and how as the oldest, he still struggles but tries to be strong for the others and help their dreams come true. He fought hard to produce this song. It gives me chills every time I hear it

V has the biggest range, from a strong and resonant baritone all the way to Mars. Cool part for me is that they all slide into that head voice and out so fluidly. Not an easy thing to do. One of their many gifts.

Thx for that guys...i was having migraine attacks but listening to that again made it better. I'm not here to bash but I noticed that some youtubers who react to BTS and other popular musicians do it to get more "advantages". Likes and subscriptions are good because that's how the system rolls...but I genuinely feel your love and fandom...it tells me that even if it wasn't for the "likes", you guys would still react to BTS cuz you love the boys....right? I wish other youtubers were honest and genuine like you guys. Thx guys for your love for music...
Yeong Lee We truly do actually love BTS and their music so that does help make things more organic. I do understand what RUclipsrs go through and the pressure we all have to deal with on this platform. Sometimes they do things to be successful that aren’t always the best. The way the system is set up on RUclips is that it makes you feel like a nobody when you are not getting views and subscribers and you are even alienated by “popular” creators. It’s kind of like a class system. So some creators let that get to them and go to great extremes to be “popular” so they never have to feel like a failure. I’ve been doing RUclips a while and by the time I got into BTS I had out grown that stage so that’s why I am able to just enjoy what we are doing and be confident in knowing that if we are true to ourselves we will attract others who are true...like you 🤓💜

Jimin and JK were the ones that sang the most high notes early in their career. But lately all of the vocal line the high notes.
"So far away" was indeed on Suga's mixtape under his alias Agust D where he collaborated with singer Suran. In 2017 he sung it with JK and Jin on BTS Festa.

I just love the vocal line.
I will say this isn't my favorite comp in the world for reasons I've mentioned in another comment, but it does show off some really beautiful moments. Honestly there are some very nice things outside of the high notes being featured here; Tae in particular has some super solid singing in this vid that's down in his chest voice, which frankly I greatly prefer to his falsetto. JK also spends a lot of time taking the lower half of harmonies when Jimin goes up high, and he does a fantastic job.
Now for some broader commentary.
So, whenever anyone makes or reacts to videos like this-by which I mean videos that feature various clips of the different vocal line members singing-the comment section gets pretty predictable. It's generally a mix of: "I hate how everyone always says BTS vocal line is terrible bc look how perfect they are," "So-and-so didn't get shown/complimented enough," "Don't compare any of the members with each other bc they're all equally talented and perfect," and then... people either praising or comparing the members, lol. I've seen this many, many times, but naturally I'm reminded of it anew by browsing the comments here.
So why am I bringing it up? I bring this up because there's a pervasive attitude in fandom that if you _truly_ love the boys, you would never, ever criticize them for anything. You would never point out a flaw. You would never compare them to one another. Doing any of these things on a public platform can be tantamount to practically outing yourself as an anti, depending on what you say.
In my opinion, though, that attitude is potentially dangerous. Nothing should be worshiped mindlessly. Nothing should be seen as perfect. We are allowed to listen to a song and say, "I'm not crazy about this one." We are allowed to observe a performance and say, "The one last week was better," or "So-and-so missed a step," and not follow it up with a million excuses for them like how they had a cold or their shoes were on too tight. And we're allowed to become familiar with their voices and make certain judgments about ability.
NOW... let me qualify this last statement in a few different ways.
1) If a listener/observer is going to make observations about a performer's abilities, it certainly helps if that person has either spent time studying that ability and the art surrounding it or has been a trained performer themself. Naturally, a layperson is free to make a call, but... y'know.
2) There are many dimensions to any given performing art, and singing is no exception. Rarely can you say any given mainstream singer is 100% "good" or "bad"; they are usually strong in some areas and could improve in others. The members of the BTS vocal line are no exception. They all have strengths and weaknesses, and they're all quite different from one another.
3) I don't mean _shady_ judgment. I mean... factual, this-is-just-life analysis of the qualities of someone's singing. Maybe this is just how I look at the world, but: At the end of the day, no matter how much you love someone, you can't pretend like they have great breath support when they sing and then have it suddenly be true. As some of you may know, I care a lot about facts and the reality of things, so observing things for what they are just makes sense to me.
But *THIS* is the most important part of this whole long story: The fact that some of my favorite artists have inconsistent breath support doesn't mean I love them any less! It doesn't mean their voices aren't incredibly beautiful! If one member of BTS is better at singing stably while dancing than another, I'll still love them both the same amount! The member with the smallest range honestly shouldn't worry about it, because it doesn't really matter! Accepting reality does NOT mean rejecting the boys as talented individuals. Thinking that way is broken logic and can lead to blind worship. At the same time, twisting facts and mistakes into something negative and insulting the boys is also illogical; their immense talent is obvious.
I hope this helps whoever is reading this to understand why I believe that observing and accepting any weaknesses in technique the boys may have is actually a mark of a very deeply devoted fan. And after all... the more details you notice, the more change you can see over time. 💖

Heya! If ya'll would like to know more about Jin, I would suggest watching Kim Seokjin: A Documentary by Glittering Bangtan. It does a good job of showing his personality and growth through the years and how the members see him. The Introduction to BTS series by gadaursan is also very good for learning more about the individual members, though you've already seen the one for Suga lol. I love ya'lls reactions. Videos like this always make me feel so good to watch. The vocal line consistently gets hate from people saying they can’t sing, SPECIFICALLY JIMIN, and it’s always such a good reminder to see that it’s really just non-bts fans who say these things. People have just accepted as fact this whole “BTS doesn’t have good vocals” narrative for YEARS without ever actually listening to them as ammo for saying they’re overrated so thank you guys. 14:04 THIS! Not just different ranges but different qualities of voice. They are not the standard collection of pop-friendly tenors. Short version: JK /is/ the trendy tenor but can belt out high notes through his chest without touching his falsetto (see "ON" solo) Such a flex!!! Jimin has the sweet, high, tenor with the most mind-bending high notes (See Red Bullet Tour "Let Me Know"). But he can growl too. Jin is also a tenor with the quality of clear ringing bells. Now we know he's got bass too (See "Dionysus" for his /full/ range...impressive.) And then there's Taehyung, the rarest of the rare in the KPOP and pop world, a rich, smokey, baritone. Then realize that he is usually singing in the tenor range bc that's how their songs are written. But he can do it with ease because he has a 4+ octave range, the widest in BTS. That's a crazy range for any singer. I could keep going but this is already long. Thanks for reading this far...I tried to keep it concise. But I don't think people really appreciate what a unique collection of voices BTS has. Next time, maybe I'll talk rappers 🤣
Yeah .. I also think that V has the largest range.. because all four can hit high notes.. but only and only Taehyung can sing so deep and soulful..💜💜💜

The problem is that this video is for high notes, which Tae doesn't do very often. It is kinda annoying that this video is basically treated as "BTS' BEST VOCALS!!!" when that is not what it is. It is only the high notes, which while impressive is not the end all be all of vocal ability. I really wish someone would make a good best vocals video that includes more than just high notes.
@@greygreygray ia that it's annoying as hell that hitting high notes is _always_ seen by laypeople as being "the best singing." It's a very lazy mindset. I'm a singer with a big range myself, but naturally I'm a solid alto, and it's always kind of gotten me down that my default/un-exercised voice is seen as less impressive than others for... no real reason.
I think the main reason people are impressed by high notes is because they're the easiest thing to hear, they're usually at the climax of a song, and depending on varying factors, they can be difficult to accomplish with proficiency. But even if a note _is_ difficult for a singer to reach and even if they pull it off, that single mediocre high note often impresses people more than the entire rest of the song being sung absolutely perfectly in the singer's normal range.
Don't misunderstand; I think soaring high notes are mega gorgeous, and when a singer hits them with high proficiency, it can really show off their skill. But there are many, many other dimensions to singing. So yeah... tl;dr this is me agreeing with you, haha.

@@curvytangerine I totally agree. I'm not a professional or anything but I have been in a couple singing groups and there is so much more to it than high notes. Parts of a song where I was singing at a weird inbetween range or when my part was very different from the other parts of the singers around me were usually much more difficult than most high notes I did. I guess for the average person with no singing experience the high notes seem like the hardest part (and that's kinda what Kpop groups want you to think as well.) It's just annoying that someone like Tae is excluded from these videos and seen as a lesser vocalist just because he does less high notes.
