Been binging your channel and used some of your tips to fill potion bottles sold by Target. Loving your channel. 😄 You mentioned Essance of Dittany. Going to search that up to see if you've done that. Haven't come across it yet. Thanks for all you create!
Ooh those colors! The light black was pretty, but once you added the green mica powder it was gorgeous! If you get a silicone mat (usually with the polymer clay) you can use that for hot glue embellishments. Just let it cool and it'll pop right off.
The doxy collection is probably almost complete. (If there is any more to add) other than that, this prop is pretty good. And Ministry approved. Not every day you get something like that. I can’t wait for the next one. I’m also waiting for the Spirit Halloween Store to return so I can get some more props. Maybe even some supplies for my own props. Keep up the good work and I will be waiting for the next video.👍
Hi guys, lets support her on Patreon... It is not much and it will help a lot and we all would have the benefits of learn a lot of great stuff. Also we can have a change to win one of this great potions she makes.
Do you take requests? I would love to see wax seal tutorial - using the hot glue looks easy enough, but I'm thinking about buying a wax seal set. It would be great to see the wax seal process and any tips & tricks you may have.
Hi, I’m new to this craft and don’t know what hot glue guns and their glue is good. Could you make some recommendations? I love your work and has inspired me to start my own potion bottles 😊
High heat hot glue guns work best, and non glitter hot glue works best, or wax seal hot glue sticks. Surebonder makes a great hot glue gun. I hope that helps 😊
I really like your work, and i want to do some potions like this for a few month now. But i can't find rubbing alcohol, were did you get it ? (Sorry if I made english error, it's not my native language)
It’s usually in the first aid aisle. It is used to clean wounds etc. if you can’t find rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol then you can use distilled water and a tiny bit of glycerin too. Your English was great 😊
How do you stop the mica powder from sinking so fast to the bottom? It stays pretty for about 30-40 minutes after shaking but after a couple days after shaking it'll only last a minute.
It would be awesome if you could do something like the Light of Elendil of the Lord of the Rings. Your creations are so magical and beautiful! I enjoy your videos so much.
Is this the same stuff called “Essence of Dittany”? The one they used on Ron when he got splinched during the Deadly Hallows movie? It was in a bottle just like this.
No essence of dittany is different. I’ve done that one too. Essence of Dittany : Harry Potter Potions : DIY Potion Bottle : Potion Prop : Harry Potter Inspired ruclips.net/video/8azMpurLjJk/видео.html This one is just also in a dropper bottle.
@@CookingandCraftChick I also heard that you have to use a rubber cork because the alcohol can soak into it and become flammable, but I was thinking I could seal the areas of the cork exposed to the inside of the bottle with hot glue
@@Dingdongtime you definitely could seal it on the inside. I like to just seal it on the outside with colored hot glue drips. Or swap the real cork for rubber corks.
FANTASTIC as usual!!! Thank You!!!
Yay! So happy you're back with another creation for the Doxy series!

Hi, What color is the ball chain? It doesn't look Silver... it looks more like either Nickel Plated or Antique Brass?? Thanks
It is a nickel plated

I definitely have that on the list to do at some point. Thank you for watching! 😊💜
Hi! I really like this and I want to make it. Can I use only instilled water or just water? I don’t have glycerin. /(Sorry for my English.)
You can use regular water just know that over time it might get yucky. The distilled water and glycerin keep things from growing in it.
@@CookingandCraftChick Can I use isopropyl alcohol instead?
@@Yui470 definitely!!

Question, is it possible to use baby oil instead of alcohol? Or does it have to be alcohol/ glycerin+water
Baby oil doesn’t always take the food coloring and the mica doesn’t love it either. You might also be able to use clear vinegar.
