  • This is a Tutorial of how to create A bottle of Thestral Hair. Hair taken from the tail of a Thestral can be used as a wand core. Anyone wishing to forge a wand with the hair must have witnessed death. It is said that the Elder wand was fashioned by death with a core of the This will be a great addition to our Potion, Prop Collection we have been making, as well our other wand core bottles!
    You will need:
    1 Glass bottle with a cork (Mine is a tall rectangle bottle 1.38”x1.38”x7”) 3.1oz
    Black Horse Hair
    Black Cording
    Black Button Thread
    Scissors
    Hot Glue Gun with Black Hot Glue
    Deathly Hallows Wax Seal Stamp
    Thestral Charm
    Silver Beads
    Teal Acrylic Paint
    Label Printed on Sticker Paper

    Hmm. I have a hank of white horse hair - I could paint it black for Thestral hair. An easier way to get just a bit of color on the cork and seal would be to dip the tip of your finger in the paint, dab most of that off, and then just rub your finger over what you want to add color to. I use that method with Rub N Buff when I want to add wear to the edge of a blade.
