Even With Your broken Coins I still Enjoyed this video. And I’m Sure your Assistances Can not wait to get back Out In search of More Treasure. I Also Think the Whistle that you found was Awesome to. Thanks once again and I Hope you Had a great weekend. Over All.catch you on the next video. 🙏👍😊⛏️
in England the small wooden ball in the whistle would be called the "pea" it won't whistle if its missing, they still make them today for sports etc. I would think the pencil and the whistle belonged to a ww1 officer. A lovely spot to detect, sad about the super brittle coins but not your fault they crumbled.
I have never seen a whistle like that.I believe it is very old, early 1800's or perhaps earlier.I would check around and see if anyone has any info. On the whistle.I think you did all you could to extract the coins. Those things are hopelessly brittle.😊
With all those musket balls, I guess there were duals and they chickened out and fired at the ground? Or they were startled by the Zombie Deer?? The whistle is about 1900's age maybe. Folded tin mouthpiece gives the age away. That whistle was handmade. I'm willing to hazard a guess that there is something in the soil that has caused the silver coins to fracture with such a light touch. bet the coins were already decomposing in the soil. Could be the type of silver as well. The assistants will be fine. Just give them some love.
Yeah, that's a bummer, still pretty cool though. American coins fall apart after a year in the dirt. I'm hunting parks, I don't have cool places to hunt, I might go to the beach soon. Cheer up Mate, tomorrow is another chance to do better. I wish you would revisit some of the places you didn't have time to dig, one in the creek I remember and those old cash registers. Nice hunt and finds.
Nope, No American coins fall apart after a year in the Dirt, only zinc pennies from after 1982...all coins 1964 and earlier stay as beautiful as the day they were dropped with a simple soap and water bath, 90% silver
I love your videos! I haven't watched you in forever because I got suspended from this commy platform for speaking the actual TRUTH! And I finally thought about you recently and here I am. Glad to be back. I'll try and not say to much 😆
I'd have to be in your shoes to know how bad you really feel. I look at it with the fact those coins are so fragile that an earthquake could break them!! Can't beat yourself up about it. You still saved history, no matter what!! If you couldn't extract them without incident, nobody on earth can!! Your assistants should never have turned their backs on you!! They should console you!!
LG
I haven't been here in a while... Glad to see you and hope all is well... Just wanna ask a question... WHY HASN'T YOUR CHANNEL GROWN ANY!? you should have 500k+ subs!!! Something isn't right! I don't think you've grown any and I haven't watched you in about a year. I hope you figure this out because IMHO you should be as big as that Chigger dude channel that talks to much lol. 🙏
Don't kick yourself over that coin. They're so fragile any detectorists would have the same result. We're not Archaeologist. Congrats on finding them though. To me better than if they stayed in the ground.
I think it's crazy you haven't upgraded to better technology... I understand why you haven't though .. YOU'RE STILL FINDING THE GOODS! Just understand this... With my legend... I know how to unearth silver from under a giant steel axe head or whatever you wanna insert. DON'T BE AFRAID TO TRY SOMETHING NEW SIR!
Such fragile coins. Still all good finds. ❤LL👍🏼
I really enjoyed it! Greetings from the Netherlands!

The pen is so cool. London is not far from me. Shame the coin was split. The dates are fascinating. Those birds were very entertaining. X

@@413MassDigger That's right, I was being sarcastic. I never find silver coins where I am.

Just out of curiosity how much are your recent Albus's from the late 1900s worth ?
👍 👏
