    I had a Hornet when I was around 12 , before I got the better Associated RC-10 for racing. I remeber that sticker sheet because it was around and used for random stickers on our RC cars for years LOL

    I owned a super similar one by a german brand, tronico Gelände Fuchs. Same livery, same chassis.
    I'm currently making a podracer and a defender, but not sure I'll finish for the challenge!
    Such a cool project. All the best for your entry!!

      Btw am not a 3d artist but a 2d artist so idk much about the technology behind the 3d renders, but you'res has this 2000s ish rendering feel, where the shadows are darker then usual and give off a feeling of not having bounce light (noticeable on the trees and not so much on the car) why is that? Am rly curious what's diffrent

    • @mori_geest
      @mori_geest  Год назад

      @@Rodutchi This was because of how I used images of trees rather than models to help with performance. You can see a much more extreme version of this towards the end with one of the Eevee renders. I agree it doesn’t look realistic, but it helps get the point across in cycles.

    Dude, great job! Your attention to detail on getting the physics of the car right for its scale is my favorite part of your project! I'm starting to learn how to render, and this project gives me hope that in due time, I can pull some sick stuff off! Hope you make it to the main show!

    Now I’m not 100% on all the rules but was there a rule for depth of field because that’s the only think I think that would make this better, it would make it look smaller with a shallower depth of field which would then make it seem more realistic, apart from that looks great
