@@benscheidegger122 That would have been great. He had such a long, great career. If that damn evil cancer didn't have to take him...I can only imagine. Cancer is so evil. Watched it take people I love and respect. Ronnie influenced me in so many ways.
@sergiofontanella4856 I'm sorry, but I disagree. I find Craig's playing and songwriting very innovative. And also, you're most likely judging based on his work within the confines of being in Dio. But both Master of the Moon and Magika are quite different. Also he has a couple of solo records from way back when that are extremely different, sometimes even bizarre😁. Its ok though, not everyone is for everyone.
He's a good friend of mine. He's an amazing guy. We connected on understanding what Dio's music meant to people and the magic that was the man! Rest in forever lasting peace Ronnie and Jimmy!
This is absolute metal f**king treasure! I couldn't turn the volume up anymore so I put my head in between 2 speakers which wasn't loud enough either so I smashed my head thru the speakers and that was just right. 🤘
Thank you a million times to who ever recorded this tape, took the risks, had the steady hands ...the love for the man one of my favorites ~ Ronnie Rules
Dio sound was outstanding specially with Goldy on guitar Ruddy or Jimmy on Bass and Simon Wright on drums, I've seen so many concerts in my life but no one can match DIO sound in 2007, that perfect sound penetrate your body and soul forever.
He was almost 57 years old at this time. He never seemed to lose any of his vocal endurance. After all those songs he belted out I would have been exhausted!
No lies from the Man of the silver mountain. His honest heart and soul come straight through his heart into the hearts and souls of everone that listens. Will never ever ever ever ever be anyone with his special magic. He is the first and last ĺine. Love and respect you always King Padavona
Dio was always at the top of our list of bands to see. Saw him on the Black and Blue tour for the first time and several times after. Thanks for the memories Ronnie. CHEERS!!
@@syfman6 Agreed, Goldy is the most underrated and underappreciated guitarist in rock, a true wizard! Simon Wright is one top drummer as well and Magica is one of the most powerful drum albums of all time.
First time I watch a Master Dio show on RUclips, where he plays Invisible. The instrumental of this song is very cool. My boyfriend, who is older than me, already went to Dio's show here in Brazil at a festival called Skol Rock, but I will never have the opportunity since he passed away, a shame, I'm a fan of this wizard with the powerful voice.
This is my favorite DIO concert. Very pure and some good raw energy without the big spectacle shows I saw in Germany in the 80s. The kids have grown up.
What a complete mind blowing vocal performance!!!! ..here is prolly an unpopular opinion but even with the stable full of great guitarist Ronnie had ..i think goldie was the best live player as far as the solos and drilling all the technical parts in the songs
I was at this show... I swear Harpo's over sold the show.. by like a thousand people if not more.. It was soo packed.. I couldnt get to the bathrooms.. An pissed right in the pit ... Great show tho.. If the fire marshal would have came in there.. he would have shut the place down... DIO FOREVER..
Magica would have been so good to see live. Think about if Dio would have been able to follow up with Magica II and Magica III. Would have been a stadium type concert. Especially when he revived a larger fan core after forming Heaven & Hell.
saw this tour and met the band before the show....jimmy bain was hammered on something, and could barely hold his head up....i asked ronnie, "damn, is he going to be able to play?"....and ronnie said "oh yes....jimmy is always like this....he'll play great, you'll see."......he was right, of course.
Anyone who like myself has seen DIO live on a few occasions - it was not only a privilege and honor but just watching the MASTER of Metal was magical - every time!! Great upload dude!!
Amazing. And the one comment talked about the guy who he called dickhead. Funny shit. Ronnie was/is one of a kind. One of the greats of all time, that I got to see 3 times solo, twice with Heaven and Hell. Rest in peace, Ronnie. You are loved.....
Watching Magica concert from Detroit on RUclips. Everyone in the band is so cohesive. Ronnie has such a stage presence. He puts you in the music. Incredible.
The Magica tour was a great tour. I saw the tour in Antwerp - Belgium. We had the luck that Bruce Dickinson and Nocko Mc Brain of Iron Maiden were recording drums for their new album in Belgium at that same time and thus were invited as special guests by Dio. On the end of the show they performed 'Rainbow In The Dark' - 'Man on the Silver Mountain' & 'Long live rock and roll' together. If you look for "DIO - 2000 "Iron Magica" (Live at Hof Ter Lo, Antwerp, Belgium,03.05.00)" on youtube you will find some bootlezg recordings of that show.
What a fucking setlist! Sunset Super man.. One Night in the City AND All the Fools!!!! This is a deep cut fans dream... Sunset is such an underrated Dio track... someone needs to get on a fan video of that with some Batman clips... so cool.

My first concert without my folks was Black Sabbath on the Mob Rules tour. This Dio show is from nearly two decades later, and this MFer was still bringing the heat. Singers half his age would be exhausted after an hour, and he was up there for damn near two hours. Amazing.
man i never realized how tall he was he looks like he s taller than the Marshall stacks behind him yes and he was a very good guitarist and under rated and he was a little differnt a little odd at times
Maybe the best live version of "As long as it’s not about love". And shockingly fresh "Sunset Superman". I wonder why Dio sounds much bigger and more powerful live in 1994-2004 than on the same era studio albums. I mean you can hear great but pretty flat in vocal terms "Angry machines" studio record from 1996 and now you hear this live concert from 2000. He sounds here in 2000 like he went through time machine and took a copy of himself from the 1984's "Last in Line" tour.
Saw this tour when it came to Atlanta. Small venue. Heavy sound. Dio was on top form as always the polished front man. Jimmy Bain the legend who was with Dio all those years in Rainbow.
Fantastic and underrated DIO tour. It was a great show. I saw this in Milwaukee. I'm not positive, but I feel like DIO played one extra song that night, finishing (or second last song?) with NEON KNIGHTS. \m/ Loved hearing "Losing My Insanity", "Challis", "Fever Dreams", "Feed My Head", as well as "Sunset Superman" and "One Night in The City".
