I'm not even gonna comment on Sebby (cause i freaking love him and as always he was freaking amazing) but I feel like we gotta praise the interviewers too. They had gotten great questions, showed that they actually know who they're interviewing and the whole thing seemed a bit chill and relaxed. It was nice to watch

I think it's the subject matter. Sebastian chooses a lot of movies that are well out of the mainstream, with some really fucked up people in them. His acting is always superb, but some of his characters are not, and the people who sit on those panels aren't interested in movies like the ones he does. I'm thrilled for him that Marvel has given him the freedom to choose the roles that honestly speak to him as opposed to the ones that simply pay the bills.
Steve doesn't actually die though. they believed he did at one point but when it comes to Bucky becoming cap he was alive when the shield was passed to him. And he never marries Black Widow, but they do start a relationship in the red room and then forget each other, only to get back together again.
Do you notice that Sebastian says “I mean” and “you know” a lot? And the worst is that I love it! Take a shot for every word that he repeats. I love you, Seb.
Re-watching this again now, after Endgame, and Sebastian trying to tactfully handle the question about taking over as Cap just... tugs at my heartstrings. I love Falcon as Cap but dammit, I hope Marvel does right by Bucky *and* Sebastian one day... It can't have been easy for Sebastian only finding out on set just before filming the scene too (and if Mackie is to be believed, he found out from Chris earlier, and they had a bit of a moment together, just the pair of them).
Did u ever get the feeling Sebastian wanted to be Cap? Because I always felt like he was apprehensive about it. Hearing from Anthony how he was so appretiative made me so happy for him. I feel like Sebastian is comfortable where he is right now similar to how Bucky is comfortable where he is now (in a sense). I am a bit bummed out he found out the day of however Chris was under the assumption Mackie knew by then. If Chris didnt bother asking him I guess he would have found out the same time Seb did

I *do* feel that he's kinda tired of some of the crap that Marvel pulls with its actors - like not telling them what's going on, not showing them the scripts, only giving them the lines on the day, only showing them a tiny part of the scene they're doing rather than in context so they can give a fuller, more rounded role - but Sebastian has never been a diva about things and has always just been grateful to be doing anything. As the man himself has said several times - being afraid to do a role isn't a bad thing. Roles that make him anxious or afraid are the kind of roles he enjoys because it means he's stretching himself. And yes, I understand that if Chris hadn't said anything, Mackie would have found out on the day as well... which would also have been pretty crappy too... but my point was that I feel that it's pretty rough that NEITHER of those two guys to have considered it decent, even from a professional level, to have let *Sebastian* know as well, especially considering the fact that Marvel has been teasing Bucky taking the shield since the first Cap movie, not Sam. And sure, they couldn't have known for sure that he *didn't* know - but the fact that the guy taking the role was unaware of that fact would suggest that maybe, perhaps, it might have been nice to give him the heads up just in case. I mean I get that Marvel likes to keep things secret but not showing scripts, only giving fragments of info right before filming, making them do dummy scenes and multiple options, lying about scenes etc - that's not a great way to treat your actors, IMO, nor to get the best out of them.
I LOVE Sebastian!!!! However, this interview is like a Marvel Movie. It's great, something that you've never seen before, you get caught up watching it, it's done and you are craving a lot more of it!
I enjoy the interviews with him by himself, because you get really thought out and complex answers. Buy on the other hand he does have a great sense of humour when's he's on with people he is comfortable wit he for example Anthony Mackie.

Becca Blue I heard an audio of a radio interview he did recently and agree that his voice is so relaxing. Always have been. I listened to him talk while i did some work in parallel. ☺
So to me the biggest thing that shines through in all his interviews is his wisdom, insight, solid advice, chillness, thoughtfulness, careful wording, and brilliant perspective which all combine to make him the perfect voice of compassion and reason. He could just be a therapist or psychologist. If he wrote a book I would buy it. I'd love to see people ask him more general, deep stuff like finding purpose in life and how to relieve stress; he would have some really awesome insights. As busy as he is with his job and fame and personal life, he still is always taking time to read philosophical, spiritual, and psychological books and thinking deeply, trying to be the best that he can be.
