Amén! 🙏🏼 I feel the same way…after many attempts to detach but allowing him to Hoover me back in n falling victim of the vicious cycle (mostly bc I didn’t truly understand what a narcissist is n I didn’t want to accept it bc I had fallen hard for him) I was back n forth for over a year. Then this January he completely used me, my feelings, my heart, my money n got completely played n discarded me n ghosted me. I thought it was it! No more. But NOOOO he’s back again (as of a month now) but now I’m a bit stronger, smarter, I’ve been doing the work to heal…I’m not even halfway there but I’m not going to allow him to hinder my healing n growth again. He just want to use me n abuse me. He doesn’t care at all. I know he’s fallen on hard times n that’s the reason he’s back bc he wants to drain me of my resources, feelings, money, etc I rather continue to stay discarded. I remember when I was with my narc, I was rather clingy and highly codependant. One thing that boggled my mind is when I was away from him for some time and I'd want him with me, so I'd message him: "I miss you" to which he replied: "I don't thing you are using the right words for the situation, I'd understand if I had been away for a few years but those words mean nothing if its just a few days." and I thought "WHAT??" Even now it trips me up slightly. From what I felt, I felt mocked for showing my emotions to him and expressing affection, which brought me to the realisation: he said that because he wanted to belittle my feelings, but he also got a huge sense of pride in knowing how I cared for him back then. He wanted to seem like he had a more stable head on his shoulders, and I was going insane. What's truly insane is mocking someone for having love in their heart 💚
This happened to me. I didn’t see him for two days and I texted him “I miss you” and he replied “why” and I said “because I haven’t seen you” he would take hours to reply. He broke up (discarded) me on my birthday. He had planned a trip to see a band in a different state and it never happened he just sent me a text telling me he didn’t want me anymore. I replied “that is fine I also don’t want you” I should’ve never said that because he went crazy he couldn’t believe I wasn’t begging him or crying or sad. I simply never wrote back and. Changed my number. He came to look for me at my home but I ignored him even if I was hurting. He still lives up the street, but his new supply hot pregnant. She’s figured him out so they are all busy going through the court for custody battles and what not. Lol I feel bad for her but I’m happy it’s not me in that position. He’s a doosh bag and uses his 1 year old daughter to hurt the mother. So sad
Mine discarded me left me pregnant with 3 little kids with no food clothes and turned off the electric during covid in November I have no friends or family because of him and his family is horrible and narcs too I called his sister and parents about the pregnancy my dad who doesn’t even have a relationship with me even told him he needed to come take care of his family my narc husband contacted anyone he thought may try an help me and said nasty lies about me had my 95 yr old grandmother in tears he would call me from different numbers from an app just to taunt me he kept throwing stones and i kept begging him to come back and fix our family instead he just told me how he already has been moving on with multiple women most had 4 kids so he used the I was keeping the kids from him excuse it was sick I’m still sick over it lasted 3 weeks and I’m back I lost my baby he got me pregnant right away I lost that one too in my second trimester I think it was god protecting me ajd he keeps trying to get me pregnant because he won’t let me work or drive or leave and puts cameras inside and outside so I can’t leave or talk on the phone becaue he listens through them I don’t know what to do…. So yes using my love for him as a weapon against me in the cruelest thing I’ve ever had to deal with ajd I still love him sadly

I was away from him 6yrs and asked to come back... unfortunately I did before I knew about this condition,he left after 6 months and we have a son together,..can't even remember what he did to leave but it was over 3 yrs ago... never went bk again

Yes you’re absolutely right!! It’s been a year since I left my narcissist husband he has tried to come back 4x. I took him back 1x a few months after we separated, he claimed he loved me so much and that he wanted his family back and was willing to do anything to fix things. He even admitted that he was the problem and that it was his duty to change and mend things including going to therapy which is something I’ve been trying to get him to do for years. I naively believed him. It was ALL LIES and ALL talk. I realized rather quickly that things were NOT going to get better and that he has NOT changed, so I left him again for good. Since then he’s tried to get back with me 3x as recent as last week he tried again!! Used our son and my bonus daughter I raised as part of the dismantling process, so grateful I remained strong and didn’t fall prey to his LIES again. I will NEVER EVER EVER take him back again. Since I left him has done so many EVIL things to me. He literally wants me to suffer knowing I’m the only one that takes care of our son. He has attacked our very livelihood and has the balls the audacity to think I would EVER take him back is crazy and very insulting. I’m still in therapy processing all of this and doing the inner work to heal from this traumatic experience.

I know someone (with probably NPD) who broke up with their partner 18 monts ago and everything who totally fine with them both and nobody regretted the situation. Just recently, few months ago the one who got discarded found a new lover and then everything changed. Now, the narcissist is always talking bad about them and sometimes even crying. For about 1 year, the narcissist NEVER talked about the ex! Just after finding the new relationship. It may sound strange at first but now everything makes sense. Narcissists will go crazy when they realize you can live without them. Everything is fine for them if they were the ones breaking up with you and if you are still single they feel that they can still go back to you (if they decide to).

Same here. He's been making sure I see him every time I come out my house. He discarded me and disappeared for several weeks and now resurfaced and hoovering. Sending texts, roaming around his sister she lives next door, and trying to call. He is watching me like crazy. Every time I change my schedule, he mirrors it. I move in four days!
I got rid of my x. He tried to move on, but kept coming trying to come back. Then go his family to get me back. I stayed strong. I was a safe place for him when things didn't work out for him. I stayed strong. I have not seen or talk to him.

I don’t think the Covert Narcissist I was with for 10 months will come back, I talked to the couple of guys she denied cheating with and they volunteered information, I’m positive she knows that from them. It’s been 5 months since that I beat her to the discard, I’ve made an insane amount of gains in that time, but have yet to run into her, tho there’s not a chance in hell that I would ever give her another chance!

The narc I was entangled with discarded and came back twice in 12 years. I am of no use anymore so I got lucky. I used her just like she used me which is why I let her back in each time. They are empty shells and have nothing to offer. No sadness here. I dealt with her long enough to know what I was getting myself into.

Yes. I never ever want to go back to a Narc! I am still in the process of healing. Today while going to church, this Narc sent me a message. I owe her money from a business that we had together. Next week I will pay her back but I can never ever be business partners with her or friends. She is a user and a manipulator and she is very controlling. I am going to pray and speak the Word of God and be ready with my guards up when I go to visit her. Meanwhile, I am unbothered by that demon.

I feel the same way…after many attempts to detach but allowing him to Hoover me back in n falling victim of the vicious cycle (mostly bc I didn’t truly understand what a narcissist is n I didn’t want to accept it bc I had fallen hard for him) I was back n forth for over a year. Then this January he completely used me, my feelings, my heart, my money n got completely played n discarded me n ghosted me. I thought it was it! No more. But NOOOO he’s back again (as of a month now) but now I’m a bit stronger, smarter, I’ve been doing the work to heal…I’m not even halfway there but I’m not going to allow him to hinder my healing n growth again. He just want to use me n abuse me. He doesn’t care at all. I know he’s fallen on hard times n that’s the reason he’s back bc he wants to drain me of my resources, feelings, money, etc
I rather continue to stay discarded.

I remember when I was with my narc, I was rather clingy and highly codependant. One thing that boggled my mind is when I was away from him for some time and I'd want him with me, so I'd message him: "I miss you" to which he replied: "I don't thing you are using the right words for the situation, I'd understand if I had been away for a few years but those words mean nothing if its just a few days." and I thought "WHAT??" Even now it trips me up slightly. From what I felt, I felt mocked for showing my emotions to him and expressing affection, which brought me to the realisation: he said that because he wanted to belittle my feelings, but he also got a huge sense of pride in knowing how I cared for him back then. He wanted to seem like he had a more stable head on his shoulders, and I was going insane. What's truly insane is mocking someone for having love in their heart 💚

This happened to me. I didn’t see him for two days and I texted him “I miss you” and he replied “why” and I said “because I haven’t seen you” he would take hours to reply. He broke up (discarded) me on my birthday. He had planned a trip to see a band in a different state and it never happened he just sent me a text telling me he didn’t want me anymore. I replied “that is fine I also don’t want you” I should’ve never said that because he went crazy he couldn’t believe I wasn’t begging him or crying or sad. I simply never wrote back and. Changed my number. He came to look for me at my home but I ignored him even if I was hurting. He still lives up the street, but his new supply hot pregnant. She’s figured him out so they are all busy going through the court for custody battles and what not. Lol I feel bad for her but I’m happy it’s not me in that position. He’s a doosh bag and uses his 1 year old daughter to hurt the mother. So sad
Mine discarded me left me pregnant with 3 little kids with no food clothes and turned off the electric during covid in November I have no friends or family because of him and his family is horrible and narcs too I called his sister and parents about the pregnancy my dad who doesn’t even have a relationship with me even told him he needed to come take care of his family my narc husband contacted anyone he thought may try an help me and said nasty lies about me had my 95 yr old grandmother in tears he would call me from different numbers from an app just to taunt me he kept throwing stones and i kept begging him to come back and fix our family instead he just told me how he already has been moving on with multiple women most had 4 kids so he used the I was keeping the kids from him excuse it was sick I’m still sick over it lasted 3 weeks and I’m back I lost my baby he got me pregnant right away I lost that one too in my second trimester I think it was god protecting me ajd he keeps trying to get me pregnant because he won’t let me work or drive or leave and puts cameras inside and outside so I can’t leave or talk on the phone becaue he listens through them I don’t know what to do…. So yes using my love for him as a weapon against me in the cruelest thing I’ve ever had to deal with ajd I still love him sadly

Yes you’re absolutely right!! It’s been a year since I left my narcissist husband he has tried to come back 4x. I took him back 1x a few months after we separated, he claimed he loved me so much and that he wanted his family back and was willing to do anything to fix things. He even admitted that he was the problem and that it was his duty to change and mend things including going to therapy which is something I’ve been trying to get him to do for years. I naively believed him. It was ALL LIES and ALL talk. I realized rather quickly that things were NOT going to get better and that he has NOT changed, so I left him again for good. Since then he’s tried to get back with me 3x as recent as last week he tried again!! Used our son and my bonus daughter I raised as part of the dismantling process, so grateful I remained strong and didn’t fall prey to his LIES again. I will NEVER EVER EVER take him back again. Since I left him has done so many EVIL things to me. He literally wants me to suffer knowing I’m the only one that takes care of our son. He has attacked our very livelihood and has the balls the audacity to think I would EVER take him back is crazy and very insulting. I’m still in therapy processing all of this and doing the inner work to heal from this traumatic experience.

I know someone (with probably NPD) who broke up with their partner 18 monts ago and everything who totally fine with them both and nobody regretted the situation.
Just recently, few months ago the one who got discarded found a new lover and then everything changed.
Now, the narcissist is always talking bad about them and sometimes even crying. For about 1 year, the narcissist NEVER talked about the ex! Just after finding the new relationship.
It may sound strange at first but now everything makes sense. Narcissists will go crazy when they realize you can live without them.
Everything is fine for them if they were the ones breaking up with you and if you are still single they feel that they can still go back to you (if they decide to).

Sending texts, roaming around his sister she lives next door, and trying to call. He is watching me like crazy. Every time I change my schedule, he mirrors it. I move in four days!

Yes. I never ever want to go back to a Narc! I am still in the process of healing. Today while going to church, this Narc sent me a message. I owe her money from a business that we had together. Next week I will pay her back but I can never ever be business partners with her or friends. She is a user and a manipulator and she is very controlling. I am going to pray and speak the Word of God and be ready with my guards up when I go to visit her. Meanwhile, I am unbothered by that demon.
