I always admire how your family gets involved in your projects and I really like your dedication to whatever project you’re working on. Keep up the excellent work!
I like the 3D pattern the hammer heads make when they're laid out on the bench on 8:29. It would make a modern wall, door panel relief or molding. Of course it would have to be 1/2" to perhaps 3/4" deep.
Thank you, we use Deft lacquer, but any nitrocellulose lacquer can be used, they all act identically. We do not mark them in any way. Some customers want to put their own logo, or have them unmarked so that’s the standard. Some like to have my daughters sign them. They love building mallets, and they probably build 95.% of them.
It takes 4 of us a week of full time to do 50, if we work 8 hours a day on them. This go around it took us 6 weeks of Sundays because we still had to work full time on our table saw sled orders.
That's always a risk with the table saw. Power feeder or not. That's why its a bad idea to stand in the path of the blade. This piece was vey thin and had very little weight luckily.
Like the safety you use, most people leave the bandsaw guard way up. Great job y’all put int the hammers
Your attention to detail shows in the quality of your final product, James.
Bill

@@KingsFineWoodworking That’s cool, thank you James.
How long would you say it takes to make each one of these, start to finish? Assuming you're batching them out like this?

Hey James, Thanks for the video, wasn't this piece flying backward in 3:35 a bit dangerous?

Are they already sold? It wouldn’t give me the half price
Still some left.
