Well done mate, most oldyins tend to shut them self off from modern music just writing it off cause it’s not what they’re used to, so genuinely that’s really cool that you’re still open and can recognise good music
Wtf he's such a genius, i just love the way he casually tunes his guitar on stage, plus he always looks so serious so that slight little smile at 2:04 is slowly killing me. I wish i could see him live, it must be magical.
the people talking in the background almost add an...whats the word...ambience? I don't know, but where background noise would usually kill the vibe, in this case it makes this song even more amazing. Which is saying something about the music.
wow he's really cute. and im not just talking about his face im talking about his style his voice his music. they way he's playing the guitar and how he tunes it on stage its just like omfg he's perfect. ily archy
I think he was really embarrassed at the end 'cause he was trying so hard to find the perfect tune but he couldn’t. Instead, he tried to figure a way to play it. A genius himself.
literally can't get enough of this, such a talented kid! I picked up the guitar about a year ago, watching this just makes me want to Play every minute of the day!
This song gave me feeling of loneliness despite living among many people. Sounds of Talking people who don't have connection with artist make me feeling it even more.
I can't stop watching this video and watching him tune his guitar as he plays. that's just ridiculous. his guitar skills are ridiculous I am in awe I swear.
You can say whatever about his skill or showmanship, but I still think it's rad that he has the testicular fortitude to get on stage and perform alone; aside from that, I totally dig the song. So kudos.
@Bageization It is a peculiar tuning: E B F# D A D - basically standard tuning but G tuned down to F# and bottom E tuned down to D (he is a semitone flat in this live version). I might tab it out sometime.
And hate runs through my blood Well my tongue was in love But my heart was left above I've got to be leaving now I thought I'd never be shot down But girl I'm black and blue So beaten down for you Well I'm beaten down in bloom Don't break away I waste away Don't break away And lay me out across the grey Hours I should have kept at bay Well I had no chance to get away I can't escape my own escape Even more when it's sweet to the taste Red stairs lead sense astray I look up and seek for faith Oh but girl just lean over and say Well lay me down Oh, ah, pull me out Well take my crown again He's submerged in doubt But wait, I make my last request See this could be the best But blue I need to rest See I've been broken down So much has lost it now I just stop and say Girl, oh don't you worry 'bout a thing Baby
@TyedSoul yea i've used all my creativity when I was real young and now I've got barely any left and I'm only 18, he's a real good artist and this song is so calming much like m. ward's cover of story of an artist
@monsieurdejour He's obviously got some brains for his age. Who knows what his upbringing was like? All I know is he's already tapped into the beauty of minimalism.
Still can't believe he was only 4 and a half years old
when he wrote this
Died to this
Blud came out the womb singing.
truely gifted
He was 17 at the time, its so crazy to see someone with an already so defined sound and style at such a young age
he is a genius
i believe he was actually 16 in this because his birthday in in August.
juiccymelon unreal
either 15 or just 16
Alot of time alone. You develop what you love
Only found out about this guy last week. Bloody awesome, and I'm almost 73. On my regular playlist from now on.

It's not that hard to tune your guitar in between playing :P Other than that, he is pretty good yeah!
Frankie Cocker Don't be mad girls don't like when you tune your guitar on stage.
DANNY DARKO Huh?
Так и оказалось. Мы были правы. 🌈🌈🌈
the people talking in the background almost add an...whats the word...ambience? I don't know, but where background noise would usually kill the vibe, in this case it makes this song even more amazing. Which is saying something about the music.
This is actually really accurate
wow he's really cute. and im not just talking about his face im talking about his style his voice his music. they way he's playing the guitar and how he tunes it on stage its just like omfg he's perfect. ily archy

he plays all the strings
you can tell hes nervous - its natural and shows hes human. I like that
im glad this aged like wine
literally can't get enough of this, such a talented kid! I picked up the guitar about a year ago, watching this just makes me want to Play every minute of the day!
To think that he is about to be a father :') time flies
11 years man damn... Felt like yesterday...
This is my favorite way he's played this song on guitar. The perfect end-of-the-night song
His voice alone sends me shivers, then you add the guitar and the lyrics. This is by far one of my favorite songs.
rarely does someone sound as good or better live, this was too good
This song gave me feeling of loneliness despite living among many people. Sounds of Talking people who don't have connection with artist make me feeling it even more.
I can't stop watching this video and watching him tune his guitar as he plays. that's just ridiculous. his guitar skills are ridiculous I am in awe I swear.
He just tuned up the low E a bit lol
Talented lad! playing that riff and singing at the same time is foooookin crazy
You can say whatever about his skill or showmanship, but I still think it's rad that he has the testicular fortitude to get on stage and perform alone; aside from that, I totally dig the song. So kudos.
I'm pretty sure it's the same tuning as Jigsaw Falling Into Place. DADF#BE (1st string isn't played so there's no way of telling nor does it matter).
First string is played at 1:12
legendary performance from this young man.
@Bageization It is a peculiar tuning: E B F# D A D - basically standard tuning but G tuned down to F# and bottom E tuned down to D (he is a semitone flat in this live version). I might tab it out sometime.
his so serious, it saddens me, but its what makes him so great...
So fucking good. What a great future he has.
oh weren’t you right John…
archy is becoming an inspiration for me
just brilliant, breaks my heart
this is awesome! King Krule will be King! i'm sure aboute that! UK music is legendary!

Just very very very very very very very very very cool !
Wow, was this JUST put up? Love Zoo Kid, wish I could find a full album to buy.
And hate runs through my blood
Well my tongue was in love
But my heart was left above
I've got to be leaving now
I thought I'd never be shot down
But girl I'm black and blue
So beaten down for you
Well I'm beaten down in bloom
Don't break away
I waste away
Don't break away
And lay me out across the grey
Hours I should have kept at bay
Well I had no chance to get away
I can't escape my own escape
Even more when it's sweet to the taste
Red stairs lead sense astray
I look up and seek for faith
Oh but girl just lean over and say
Well lay me down
Oh, ah, pull me out
Well take my crown again
He's submerged in doubt
But wait, I make my last request
See this could be the best
But blue I need to rest
See I've been broken down
So much has lost it now
I just stop and say
Girl, oh don't you worry 'bout a thing
Baby
I love how some of the lines feel like they arent complete, kinda adds to the song
This dudes the same age as me. I look at him and wonder what the fuck I'm doing with my life.
Gotta love that riff.

Por favor, más gente así...

@BrandonG00 Actually it's a reference to Jean-Michel Basquiat..

@nahmeanson
Close, looks like DADF#BE, same tuning as Jigsaw Falling into Place
yeah it is the tuning is sick to play on
Genius
oh jes, he's amazing o:
juust, fuck yeah
I think he did it on purpose
You can only write tunes like this at his age. The older you get the harder it gets to be creative like this...
This nigga on point. So fresh
Groooooovy!
@sketchead2 i think that's just clean... with a tiny bit of 'verb
“Boorr”😂 fucking accents
@spotpilgrim thanks man but my guitar got stolen. i will play this when i resteal it though. thanks!
@monsieurdejour He's obviously got some brains for his age. Who knows what his upbringing was like? All I know is he's already tapped into the beauty of minimalism.
Is this available on ITunes?
Can someone tell me what type of hat that is? With the strap at the back
I'm 23 but I know how you feel man....
If you like King Krule, check out Ted Duchamp - Better Days, think you'll enjoy it, have a nice day:)
I'd say its a strapback look for the metal holding the fabric
It's not drop d it's a variant of an open d chord
someone needs to tab this
what pedal does he use- chorus/blues driver?? or is it just his amp settings?
a mellow ginger jamie t.... i like :)
He's playing in Dropped D tuning
this guy is fucking beast.
Anyone know what tuning he is playing in? Such a good song
DADF#BE
@Jake504 Hey, you have talent too. A bit too technical, but youre good. Why the hate?
want him to serenade meh to sleeeeep
i was wondering what weasley was getting into these days
whered he get that classic hat?
sounds like d standard or open d
This is exactly how I sound when I play guitar, its weird but cool.
rick astley/la roux/ jamie-T-esque style/ super wannabe scenester/gingers do have souls/really good tune
haha What does oberhofer have to do with zoo kid? :3

Wow
If you like Archy, check out Ted Duchamp - Better Days, think you'll enjoy it, have a nice day!:)
