#songsofcomfort Night #100: "Almost There" and the prologue to the Princess and the Frog - My neice and I LOVE jamming out to this tune. After paying tribute to what will soon be the history of an attraction, I thought it would then be appropriate to play a song from the film that will soon be a part of the reimagining of Splash Mountain. Very well done, vibrato was textbook! Nailed the jazzy feel too. Great work. What scoring for instruments did you look at?

Thank you so much! I have to thank my students for vibrato as I have to consistently break it down and demonstrate proper technique when teaching it. Therefore keeping my own technique in shape 😊! I believe I found Almost There on musicnotes.com. The Prologue was learned by ear and jazz in the other song up was just pure fun!

@@violinali Love it. Improving/learning vibrato for me is still a challenge....especially without a shoulder rest to take the pressure off my hand and thumb.

@@joburd_797 a shoulder rest is essential. Also, practice your vibrato with a metronome! Your thumb should never really be engaged as it's the responsibility of your jaw and shoulder to hold the instrument, not your hand 😊
