Hi Liberty, Im a LLB student at Queen Mary and Ive just received my first formative assignment on contract law, as I was helpless in starting my assignment, I stumbled upon your video and found it extremely helpful! Thank you for your clear, concise, and organised explanation of the subject and I hope you could do more videos on these topics! Have a lovely day! :))
Thank you for your lovely feedback! I appreciate it! I’m glad you’ve found them helpful. Hope your studies are going well Xx
We can share more ideas on Law studies with me
I look forward to hearing from you
Thank you for this comment - I have to do some resits and trying to take myself up several degrees.
I’m doing my first formative at queen mary right now and watching this too haha xx
I think this is one of the first videos that I have come across as an undergrad studying law for the first time, essay planning can be overwhelming but this video has helped me so so much so thank you liberty
This was so informative, I really appreciate that you’ve taken the time to help others. I only wish I’d found your vids before I started my first year.
Amazing content girl! Thank you so much for sharing ur tips, this will be useful as I am a 2nd-year law student! Good Luck :)
Literally the only way I can learn something is through direct examples. I literally have to see one and remember it’s structure, how it analyses, criticises and evaluates. It’s how I learnt how to do PEEs in secondary school
You should see some examples in your seminars and lectures etc. We were taught to use IRAC for problem questions. I am planning to do more videos on essays as I've said. The law express books are also really good for showing structure for problem questions and also essays. The Q&A ones have lots of example answers.
Liberty Miles thank you!
Many of these tips I do naturally but there were some definite reminders of things to do that I sometimes avoid and things I should incorporate more of into my writing. Thanks!
That was really inspiring, and helpful. Thank you for sharing your experiences and advice! Well done!
Can you do a video on how to read journals and articles please? Loved this video
Thanks so much for the tips , doing the course at home and you really made everything much more simpler :)
thank you so much for this currently in my first year now and this would help me a lot in essay writing even in my exam
Very nice. Thankyou.
New sub. Great video sister.....
Wish I came across ya channel a year ago. I'm halfway through my degree. Oh well I can smash it from here on out.

Can you make a video on writing problem question? That will be nice of you.I am finding your videos very much useful as a first year law student. Thanks for giving us guidelines!
Useful tips indeed! Thank you 🌺
please never remove these videos
If only all our undergraduates would follow this excellent approach! They might listen more to a successful student than to us so I will recommend this channel to them. Well done.
Wow, well thought and explained. Thanks a lot ❤️
very very helpful and informative. thank you
Answering the question, wow this alone could be an hour long vlog. Your words are accurate and so helpful!
Thank you for this
This is helpful, thanks
I'm currently in my first year of LLB and find it so difficult for me to complete my reading
Do you have times that you don't feel like understanding the texts? Would like to know how you managed to get through this
Also, there were times where I remember the lectures, principles and knowledges obtained (I got good results in quizzes), but I just couldn't put it right in my essay
Hi Liberty, I have a formative during reading week (in my first year for C&A at Exeter studying law), any chance you could upload the second part to this? Great video!1
excellent inputs!! thank you
Thank you.
Great! Doing doing good.
I wish I loved writing essays ha
Please what mascara do you use? It’s lovely🥰

Thanks! It’s from and other stories x
Hello Liberty, what are your tips for first years to know what the question's asking?
This was so helpful, thanks! I’m starting LLB Law at Exeter this year as a ‘mature’ student - I’m 20. How often did you get set essays to write throughout the year and how long did they give you?
I'm glad! I'm 20 too! Have a look at my other law videos I talk about all of this in those especially the law Q&A and I talk about what the course is like in my first video about law at Exeter. We only got set a handful and I think we had a few weeks or they were 48hours and only two went towards our final grade :)
how do you do this in regard to scenario questions?
can i get your notes please???? i'll be giving exam this june and i'm in first year. if i could get notes of public law and legal system then it would be really helpful. pleaseee
Who is your stylist?
an on going feedback that i get on each assignment is that i am too descriptive.. like i write a lot of definitions etc.. but i always feel like if i don't then i might lose marks. Any tips on how to improve?
If you’re feedback is that it’s too descriptive I don’t think you’ll lose marks for taking some of the definitions out! I don’t really define things, i think you can mostly assume your marker knows these things, especially with a limited word count - I think I only ever really describe the concepts I’m going to speak about in 1-2 sentences in the intro :)
Don’t write ur intro first- I now get this because it took me 4 days to write my intro - I mean I had work too BUT still it was one of the biggest mind fookers 😭
Fan astic
As a law student, I'm thinking : get to the point!!
