- Diastema closure using direct bonding ( front wing technique)
A diastema is a space between front teeth. Diastemas are closed by orthodontics or restoration. A highly successful technique is addition of composite. A space which is too large and closed with composite results in teeth that are esthetically too wide and orthodontics is recommended. Space closure requires placement of composite two adjacent teeth. Placement of composite onto one tooth can be done it proper tooth dimensions allow it.

Eu tb tenho diastema, meus dentes da frente são separados e eu odeio acho horrível. Eu vou procurar um dentista em breve pra cuidar d alguns problemas dentários q eu tenho, e depois eu vou pedir pro meu dentista fazer esse procedimento pra fechar os meus dentes separados, espero q fique como esse aí. I have a diasteme of 3mm. If I put on braces to pull off teeth 11 and 21, will I get a gap between teeth 12 and 22, will I put veneers on all these teeth or will I have to wear retention? teeth will not return to the previous state thanks to veneers? I'm not a dentist. I am a normal gray man and I have a dilemma.
